Good post Steve, Easyjet will recover for sure the CEO stated there was a surge in bookings following the revealing of Boris strategy for getting back to normal. I see a steady climb here, the industry will work with the government on a plan to restart and we will have more details on April 12. There is at least targets to aim for holidays in July and August will now hopefully happen. I'm invested here and confident in longterm survival of this company, should come out of this trimmer and well placed to grow quickly.

All about the cashburn on Friday, we know numbers will be bad but if cashburn significantly reduced , then this will power through existing levels. Assuming vaccines continue at pace and the public is sensible and no new variants, we should be flying in the Summer. This should power forwards now. GL All!!

TP69 great post as always!! Going to be hard to second guess Fridays results. Everyone is expecting a loss and as markets look forward I personally believe unless any major surprises on Friday, we should be in a good position.to progress forward. Interesting reading on the swing trading, I've blended some long term holding with day trading, but more managed to average down quite significantly. All my former colleagues have been brought off furlough, if I was a betting man, I think we're looking at a much reduced weekly cashback and in strong position to take advantage of a rebound with all the pent up demand. I personally believe maybe a dip on Friday but the drive of holidays in the summer will drive serious momentum here. Boris will be under enormous pressure to indicate if this is on the cards and airlines will need a few months notice. With governent publicly stating over this weekend target all adults to be vaccinated by end of July my guess holidays are on and airlines will be told to aim for that date. Once announcement confirmed and travel actual does recooencrs SP here straight past £2 towards £2.50 Mark I recon. Interesting week ahead, GL All!!

I agree, vaccine passports only way out for travelling abroad.

I agree, great opportunity to top up on British stocks, expecting Saga to do well do, hopefully double or more in next 12 - 18 months.

Portland1, travel will open up for sure. We need to have travel passports, vaccines continue to be rolled out at pace and also large scale rapid testing. Once this is in place and countries have majority of their populations vaccinated things will open up. I'm hopeful for travel opening by July but not all countries. I was reading Australia likely to stay closed until start of 2022. On the whole though, as long as the public stay safe, use face coverings and be sensible then there should be a way out for us!! Very different now compared to this time last year, vaccines a game changer and there is light at the end of the tunnel!! Travel will be opening up and those invested here will do very well indeed.
