Interesting comparison but SQZ production won't be NET 23k boepd for several years due to the 40, 50, 60% structure of the deal...... Even so we should be looking at a significant re-rate once the deal goes through :-)

Hope you're right Mav. Certainly Erskine restart has been clearly signalled to the market so will hardly be "news"....

Just to remind people of the potential here. WHEN BKR and BK deals complete, production net to Serica will be
2018 9k boe/d
2019 11.25k boe/d
2020 13.5k boe/d

Add in maybe a sustainable 4k from Erskine and the current market Cap looks small to me......
And with Rhum 3 there could be much more on top.

I'm still amazed and puzzled that this hasn't gone back to double figures, given that work is underway that could easily make a mockery of the current pitiful market cap. The field test is "merely" a re-run of the BARTY work from 30 years ago so it has ALREADY been proven. With modern equipment, the results should only be better. Wake up Market!

Looking very good today. Seems people have digested the news over the weekend and concluded that BKR is going to happen.....

And Erskine on track for re-start this month.
And with all the money accruing from BKR production since January, we will be sitting on a heap of cash when the deal does complete! ;-)

Certainly doesn't appear to be any room for doubt that the transaction WILL complete.

Mommur - I have no problem with another deal if it adds value! I am just concerned that we dont bite off more than we can chew! :-)

cc - you are right of course, nothing is guaranteed. However, I consider the irsk/reward here to be heavily skewed to the latter at this price. Time will tell if my judgement is right.

I know we are not actively pursuing EcoShale, but, as far as I am aware, we still stand to benefit from any progress made with it.

Thought we might have had news that work "on the ground" had commenced for the field test....
Still can't believe that there has not been an anticipatory rise back to double figures, given the potential and imminent progress.

From ADVFN it looks like lots of ship activity around Lomond. Hopefully finally connecting all the bits so we can restart asap.....
btw Mommur, I would really like to see Serica get the BKR/Total deals across the line before we go after anything else!

Why anyone would be "out" now totally escapes me. I have bought another £3k this morning as I see no realistic downside from here. Whether Erskine restart, BKR waiver, Namibia news or Rowallan spud date, it all looks very positive to me with plenty of upside, any two of those (ok, maybe not the last two) should see us over £1 imo.
Thought we might have heard that a rig for Rowallan has been contracted - or did I miss that???
