Another piece of the jigsaw falls into place!

At every level there will be profit takers, regardless of the potential here. For example, I wouldn't blame the investor who stumped up £100k at 8.5p from taking a chunky profit today. Plenty more will buy in to the TOM story, especially after news that test has started and maybe a resource upgrade too.....More to come IMO.

A poster on advfn (fishyneck) says that their broker had a call from Cantor looking for shares and offering 13.5p for 250k. He declined their kind offer! They are short of shares and this can only go up!

Well, I have added more too this morning. Once the short termers/weak holders are gone I suspect we will see a slow rise. Medium term, this is a no brainer. Hold your nerve and be rewarded. IMO. DYOR etc

Makes you wonder if those shareholders that were offering funds will want to buy off market now the fund raise is over. I was prepared to put £10k in so there might be a significant wall of money to push this further. The lucky shareholder that got £100k at 8.5p presumably asked lots of questions about the test and was satisfied that his/her money was "safe" so I see this as great vote of confidence.

Yes , lucky guy or girl! They can see where this is going and after yesterday are already being proven correct!

Well,, Tomco dont now need funds until well after the test results. That will be good nes for a market that was worried about a cheap placement. £100k at 8.5p is a great result and should see the brakes well and truyly off today. My only disappoibtment is that my offer of funds will not now be needed! The REd Leaf disposal is good news too as we get funds for something that we carried at nil value and had no interest in proceeding with. All in all, onwards and upwards. Well done BOD!

By my reckoning we could get switch on as early as tomorrow. I suspect that we are locked in to a trading range between 7p and 8p pending news on funding. A good post on advfn by officerdigby which I can't get logged into for a reply (on holiday in Turkey! ). Mentions funding option via existing holders and not paying a broker. I fancy some of that, even if only to avoid my holding being diluted. Not sure how much the company would need to raise now but would hope no more than £500k before results. 7p shares and an option of one for two at 14p within 12 months would get my interest...

Nice to see the company deliver on its' promise of giving news as soon as possible. Market doesn't seem to get what we are doing. With "switch on" next week, we should build some momentum soon.

Ok, I have spoken to our Chairman about the "water Issue" or more precisely, the reporting of it by SP Angel. I am suitably reassured that this is not the problem suggested in the article and IS being dealt with. That is what tests are for, and a solution (pumps) is in hand. The company continue to make progress and will report this as soon as they can. Thanks for the clarification Andrew and keep up the good work!. Yes, they DO read the BBs!

The start of the PR "blitz"?

I wonder how much that SP Angel article had to do with them being dumped as our Nomad two years ago? Do you think they bear a grudge, now that Tomco might actually be on the verge of success? Without them! Or could it just be a coincidence.....hmmmm?

Looks like we are over the worst of the effects of the SP Angel article. Seems to be heading higher again, helped by that chunky buy.
BTW, I did get a response to my email and the company are certainly aware of the offending article. I am hoping for a follow up call but, tbh, actions speak louder than words and a succesful test will be enough for me!

It's about time we saw some anticipatory movement here. I would really hope for 4.5 before release of the FS. Has the seller stopped or wil "hot" money soak them up?

It seems you may be correct fitte. Or maybe they are waiting to get a production figure to announce with the re-start?

This guy knows his stuff so don't rule out a 7am RNS saying the field is now producing...

Very iinteresting to look at the timeline on Friday. After the 7.00am RNS it opened at 8 (pretty much where it was the day before) before a bounce to 9 and then stable at around 8.25. Until around 10.30 when it dropped. By 11.30 it was around 7p but in the afternoon it stabilised around 7.4p. Guess what time the SP Angel article appeared? 10.18am, So the official news release didn't spook the market, but the hugely biased (and wrong) article byZac Phillips did. You have to wonder if he profited from this manipulation.....

IF this statement were true, why would only the bottom 15 feet of the holes have flooded?
This guy is both ill informed and dangerous.
I think the market needs some clarification from Tomco tomorrow.

"As a Tomco shareholder of 5 years, and holding slightly over 1m shares, I feel compelled to contact you. Having read today's RNS about the preparation for the RF testing, I was very disturbed to subsequently read the article produced for SP Angel and written by Zac Phillips. What he describes does not seem to bear any relation to the RNS. Can you confirm that the "issues" he raises re. water are in fact not true? If so, I would strongly urge you to publicly denounce what he has said, or shareholders will be further manipulated by lies and distortion. I would appreciate your clarification on this matter.
