Just had a second listen. Although I would expect a CEO to be upbeat and positive, I got a genuine feeling that JM is not worried about the economics of Araguaia. This is NOT a short term project and those prepared to finance it will not be looking short term either. As for SP, who knows where bottom is but if your investment horizon is measured in years and not days, you could argue that buying at 1.8p is a steal.
As I mentioned in my previous post, the Vale acquisition of Canico would suggest that our MC could be more than 50 times its' current level as Onca-puma had only half of HZM resources. Even allowing for some dilution/funding, an end game of around 50p a share would suit me nicely! :-)

Thanks for posting HfO, very positive - I liked the example of the company bought by Vale in 2005 for $850m which is like a half of HZM. Thats around 30 odd times our current market cap.....

I agree - it is not done until it's done, thats why I expect a lift. But it is hardly coming out of left field as a surprise, so it will definitely have been mostly priced in IMO. Would like to be wrong but nothing is ever THAT easy on AIM!

I fear much of the deal is priced in already but would still expect a bump up to 150- 160p at which point I would sell 20% of my holding. The rest is in for the next 3 years when I see this doubling again and more.

Rellim, agreed - the spread has produced some "misleading" trades. Looks like it is on the way back up after that little shake to get shares!

Just freed up some cash and bought £4k more at 119.9p
I would never have thought I could buy sub 120p again!

I think you are probably in the wrong place. You seem to want all risk removed before you invest. Thats fine, each their own but this is AIM. Of course I see risk here, I just dont need you to ever so kindly point it out ALL the time. Rainbow chasing? No, just high risk high reward. My money, my risk, my choice. Not your thing - maybe stick to the FTSE 100.

bbr - I am not sure how long this will remain suspended but hopefully long enough for some "good news" to be issued to counter the fiasco of the second placing.

And a good job too (for holders) or this would be at the 2p level so many are after. This is where the BOD earn their beans. A full update on the test and a clear path going forward (including a funding plan) is needed before suspension is lifted or there will be a bloodbath...

More likely to be UP 30% tomorrow IMO. The sell off was overdone. The company will be trying to get news out (past the obstructive Nomad) that will re-build confidence.

I snaffled two lots (175k total) at 5.3p so am "doing my bit"! Getting close to notification time if I keep doing this.......
I must sit on my hands!
