Joe - that article does seem to have been written with an agenda. The comments about aquifers and mass flow sound like someone is trying to blind the uniformed with science. Now why would they do that? Tomco need to address and rebut the points raised. The journo can be contacted at zac.philips@spangel.co.uk. I will be emailing Tomco to suggest they take some action.

Joe - your're right, I have re-read the RNS and it does seem less of an issue than I had first thought. The market doesn't like it though...

tm - I am also slightly concerned regarding the water. Not so much that there is some, more that they dont seem to have forseen thsi or prepared for it. And as for testing/calibrating the equipment, it is reasonable to assume that they must have produced something. However, the test is not wether they can produce as this was proven in the 80s, it more whether it is commercially viable.
Todays RNS was never going to push this over 10p, however much traders may have wanted it to.
And as for my shareholding, I could either be talking bull or have a positive attidue to risk and/or a diversified portfolio!

Today's RNS:
"The upgrade to the RF antennae is expected to be completed and the 'live' testing part of the Field Test is expected to commence shortly."
So we are not there yet......

Share price continuing to recover from earlier. Was over 10% down, now only 3%. Back to where we started before close?

Live testing should be starting now so expect news of this next week. The completion of testing is expected to take 4-6 weeks. Not sure how quickly after that we will get results...

You should be right but that is NEVER (in my experience) how it is done on AIM. They will always place before big news especially if they could be left with bad news and no funding. I dont expect anything other than commercial sucess BUT I am pointing out that a placing in the very near future (before results) is (IMO) very likely and might explain why rather than recovering, the sp continues to be weak. What's the betting we get news of commencement of testing AND a placing to see us through the next 6 months or so?

The drop seem to have been across the market and certainly the all shares (mostly oilers) that I watch closely. However, most of them have bounced back significantly now, yet TOM remains stuck.
Some will acuse me of being a de-ramper but I have to wonder if the market is getting a whisper of a placing at around 8p? Some suggest that the company will wait until results but I really doubt it. It would be much easier to fund raise just prior to (good?) news than just after.
A placing IS coming, the only doubt is when and what price? And as a holder of well over 1m shares here I am as keen as anyone to minimise my dilution!

Looks like a bargain for those with deep pockets....

NK, yes, I would love to see plans for R3 for H1 19. We would get to keep 50% of the extra production so bring it on!
