Dick - Good post. It's nice to hear someone linking population to climate change. Politicians and environmentalists far prefer solar panels and wind turbines to birth control, which is the only thing that will "save the world" IMO.

Mav - I think they are preparing for another acquisition, yes. Not sure whether they will need to raise funds though. It could explain the II conference call last week. I wonder....

Just had a quick check on the "prepayment facility" that Serica have drawn down £12.8m against. The maximum amount is £16m, so they have only taken what they need to cover the Initial Consideration to pay BP. I still dont know why they have drawn this down, given all the other cash just received....

Looks like it's going to be a "slow burner". Maybe after the conference call and possibly after the weekend press coverage, this may grow steadily as people realise how cheap this is for a fundamentally transformed company. Could do with some updated broker notes too....

I would decline 5-6p thank you! I can understand those that have got in around 2.5p maybe considering it but for me right now, it would have to be10p minimum and I KNOW that is too cheap!
