Well Chris, I did buy-back in the low 30s after Wyn's pointer and I'd have bought more if I hadn't got some money tied up in Wood group. So had you considered that wyn might have had his money also tied up (if he didn't buy as you accuse him) or he did buy as he claims?

I for one am glad that he does post. What's your problem?? Just ignore him / green box if he annoys you so much; it's SO simple..

Wyn clearly, very clearly, crystal clearly, wrote that low 30s were a good time to buy. It was one of his most unambiguous posts.

And still people (🤡🤡s) call him a liar...

Well done wyn for continuing to post your view on the good times to buy and the times things are looking a bit overbought. Many people appreciate it though many of them would apparently deny it.

I'm ignoring Watching2 these days a lot better than you are ignoring your posters. (It's not easy but it's possible, and until now I hadn't even broadcast the fact that I'm ignoring W2.)

I’m only guessing; quite a few who bought during the lows will be well ahead in profit now and perhaps sold some on good news (especially during August when it might be a while before more good news).

Thanks Tyke. I am an outsider, not a huge holding of mine and I've lost 75% already. You may well be right and that would be a very frustrating situation. My instinct was based on 'if it works people would fight to get to the clinic and stay till they got it' but life is more complicated than that.

This paragraph bothers me:

Whilst I don't know what's involved – and the US is a huge country – a single really promising response would ensure people would do what it takes to get the treatment.

Pity no one bought Avct BEFORE Sir Al picked up launch and Chris then I guess.. I just don't buy-it that an 'appendix' would prevent a big farmer buy-out.

Hopefully I'm wrong and others are right.

That was probably me you are talking about and I don't have a clue what's going to happen here. On the one hand it could be TB wants more shares and I fell into the trap, on the other I've got some money out to put elsewhere and perhaps I'll recover my losses. Having said that I could always jump back in later so not all is lost.

Usually RNSs will try to paint the rosiest position possible, under the circumstances; this one didn't. That's why I feel it could be a trap.. I kept a single share just so I don't forget to keep a good watch for news, and also stay an existing shareholder should there be a retail offer.

Preyz is quite right. I’m with HL so could trade if I wished. If I were you I’d just hold tight as, if ACUT do succeed then your people should be able to trade them. I don’t know how much hassle and cost (if any) you’d encounter now, just moving them. Presumably the brokers would not do a move for nothing?

I’m with HL and I’m pretty certain I got what I was expecting. My ACUT shares are in my Fund and Share account (don’t qualify under ISA rules) and my TLSA stayed in my ISA. weren’t the old tils shares consolidated 10:1 into $TLSA shares?

I think I bought a few tils after the split and while they were still on the LSE but looking now I seem to have roughly 10 $TLSA for one ACUT. So I suspect I received one ACUT per 10 TLSA at the time of the deadline

JFK. So 12 times the low price, but that’s to commencement of any bidding war. (People can do their own maths here.)

Twelve times for $TLSA’s lowest sp would mean around $6 and it’s already bobbing around $2.50 these days.

Using the headline SP means any dilution along the way is automatically accounted for.

Using the lowest sp as a start point might be irrelevant but $TLSA could be a theory test.
