Hi HC, I think it could go more than one way; maybe a single share; or slightly scaled back from my full application (like everyone else) or I get the full amount as I only asked for £500 and people who ask for many more get scaled back and not (modest-amount) me.

I've also realised you don't get asked for the money till later so I won't put funds in just now. If Avactarians don't mind I'll let you know how things pan out and when it's quiet on here.

When I sold I kept one share as a 'bookmark'. I usually do this with penny shares rather than leave completely. It's meant I can take part in the retail offer :-)

Assuming it's a genuine post...

Another bidder might conclude that if Sid spend £40m and still want to pay 30p/share then it would be worth their while offering 35p or more while at the same time not having to spend their own £40m on due diligence (let Sid do their research for them and then snatch WG with what they've saved).

I think every poster on every bulletin board should be invested in themselves and not the company. The company owes you nothing and would (often has) manipulate you and take your money if it could. As someone once pointed out on the Braveheart BB a few years ago 'at least TB lubes you before he s*rews you'.

This won't go up in a straight line so be wary of posters saying this will be 20 by.. 30p by... as they are not intending to buy more

themselves at the higher price they predict. If I were planning to buy more on Monday I'd have a low profile this weekend rather than encourage other to push the price up for me. Obvious really but easy to forget.

Not being a scientist or even particularly close follower of this tech I wonder whether it could be useful for type 1 diabetes prediction and also treatment in the first few days, to stop the irreversible damage. That would be amazing, and super-huge market.

B2HS2L, It's hard to argue with your post as this is indeed the AVCT bb.

In mitigation I would say that I actually acted on info in that discussion and have benefitted in the few hours since. It might not last but hopefully it will.

If this BB were an AVCT investment club meeting at the pub I'm pretty sure that, on the quieter evenings, discussion would move to other shares that people invest in, even if the pub around the corner is the one where those clubs meet.

Wyn, Just brought most of what I borrowed from the swiss co back to the swiss co. Was able to buy back at very favourable terms overall. Thanks for the small victory.
