Nebel, you announced the AGM news several hours ahead of the RNS!
Last year they tagged a Trading Update onto the AGM, but no mention of that this year. This was 2020 / LAST YEAR's reasoning:

Given the unique circumstances this year and in order to provide shareholders with additional information during these most uncertain times, eve plans to issue a scheduled trading update on the morning of its AGM, covering its performance for the first four months of the year.'

Still, I wouldn't be hugely surprised if we have a slight firming of the SP ahead of the AGM; maybe they'll hint at how things are going.

I didn't know that much about helium though wife works in gas industry and is strongly supportive of the case for HE1 from what was known a couple of months ago.

Thanks Bubbling, can't be a great antibody test can it.. Assuming the AZ works then there must be more to it than just antibodies.
It's hard to imagine people turning up at work in the autumn with a sniffle and not being LFT tested for covid, even if they have been given the jab. Who would want to work near to a person with a cold / cough / heavy cold unless they've had a test that morning. And the herd immunity again colds and flu will be super-low this autumn.

Just performed a home antibody blood test by Abingdon ('AbC-19™ is a SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) rapid neutralising antibody test solution that produces results in 20 minutes and creates an antibody certificate via a smartphone app') for antibodies as part of the UK Biobank survey.
Came back 'negative'; the thing is I had the AZ jab on March 22nd so really, I should be 'positive'... My 2nd jab is set for June.
If I were getting on a plane I'd still be a good candidate to take a LFT as I guess wouldn't get a covid passport without the antibodies.

On the one hand this afternoon would have been a good time to sell – after the presentation and with a little while before CE etc – and then buy back tomorrow morning. But who's to guarantee 100% there won't be more news in the morning...

+10% popped up on HL for a minute for me, then quickly fell back. Thought it was just a 'rounding' or temporary computer thing. Seemed a bit too-good-to-be-true on not much trading.

Muller, Reform UK will filter out anyone with a remotely German or European sounding name. I recommend you mail from friend's account if you are indeed a Muller.

When people say eve could fail, she's the principal counter-argument – and the shift to on-line shopping of course.

A lot of 'buys' for a round number of shares; 50k,25k,20k 10k etc . this morning.
They are normally more random than that when different people are buying. I could be wrong of course.

It's clear she knows just what we investors (and city investors) want to hear, and she says it. I'm sure there'll be a gloss but I take her at face value not to be stretching the truth too far.

What do people think the graph represents? Is that a representation of real data?
And is she throwing her voice into the future or does that line look to be above the 'profitable' line? CC: "..the growing pains are worth it. You know they really are.. We are now in a place where we are, you know, delivering consistently improving profits – I mean, we are still loss-making, but we'll get there..." etc. or is that her saying we are currently making profit – almost profitable – can't announce till later – expect soon – and then she talk of the tipping point and then investigating and the next stage of growth.
Also, selling into new territories in the next couple of years.

WPal, this couldn't be more off-topic; reading your bear-case I noticed you had a bike accident in March. I got knocked off a few years ago and went to a PI lawyer as it was obviously an insurance claim due to me hitting a second car (after going over the bonnet of the first one!)
I actually became a supplier to the lawyer, after the case was sorted in my favour.
I would recommend you follow it up, if you were not at fault. Happy to give pointers if you're unsure.

Hi Wyn, thanks very much for all that. Must have taken some time and effort to write bearing in mind you have better things to do I'm sure.
It's all extremely interesting and an insight into how to do things a bit better than I do at the moment. It really is quite addictive as there are several shares I'd like to back a bit more but lack of funds mean I shall have to be patient. My HE1 went up again today so 74% up, but it's a huge gamble. I suspect that bad news would bring an immediate fall to bring me a loss, but good news would give me time to invest more as it's not the most obvious share. When Angle came out with good news the other day, not much happened through the morning! It took a day or two to sink in.
I still feel Eve has room to move up; I do think CC will get the balance about right. (Hortic, the difference to me between eve and other bed-in-a-box outfits is that they are actively increasing their range of sleep products. You wouldn't, I don't think, find the others selling the extras – like PJs – and which I'm guessing a lot of people will be buying on-line now some of the big statures have left the high street.)
Anyway, another day closer to Thursday for the big news (if it finally arrives!) elsewhere that people have been waiting for. It's good of you to keep posting despite the stick you get over there.
