I did actually buy back in, a few minutes before your email, as AGL dipped to 115 to buy which I took. It was actually quite hard but I stuck to my plan to 'bed and ISA' here. I did ponder elsewhere (He) till June and then bring it to Angle but I was completely-out here – and who knows what news could drop here before June. I did check the RSI before I bought, to check that it wasn't over-bought. It's a good check to make :-)

Be careful DeepBdiver; there was someone on the RMS board a few months ago – when it was racing – and they put the proceeds of a house sale, all into RMS. Their despair was palpable when it dropped.

I spent a few minutes searching without success at finding an answer: am I right in thinking I've read that the licences HE1 have are to develop / explore in Tanzania are for a few years only?

My wife says ‘ C à Vous’ (on France 5) is a fairly well known and popular programme in France in the current affairs genre. (Bit like The One Show rather than Panorama, so far as I can tell from her :-)

Hi Aim, that's really interesting that you are looking at eve more positively. I couldn't comment on the customers' attitudes to price as I think our family are more careful with money than most and are not typical. Some people do not seem to mind paying more for things and almost prefer to do so; I perceive eve to be a premium brand and getting more so, so maybe CC will take eve in that direction.
He1 certainly seems to be set-fair until drilling begins at least. Wyn is in there too. I'm trying to be able to bank a profit but it will be a challenge not to stay in with He1 till the results come in, for better or for worse. It's also being mentioned on other boards (Avacta for one) so there must be more and more people joining in.
Eve does seem to give more than one chance to buy-in but the days well below 5p seem to be firmly in the past. The web site traffic info for the UK and France will be out in a few days. If the new ad in France is only just out then its effect won't kick in for a month or two. And the January sales are well in the past. It'll be interesting to see how the figures have gone.
Nebel, was your pillow from eve via Ebay, or a third party? Can people in Germany easily buy eve? ATB, D.

Thanks a lot for that Trek. I hadn't thought google could provide an answer but actually I hadn't thought of the right question! Interesting comment from your wife; Mrs Geeman has also said to let HE1 ride if I can afford to lose, which I can (but I'd much rather not). She is usually telling me to sell when I've made any sort of a profit and has been proved right more than once.

Great that you did so well on SNG. I did trade well in the first week I bought, when it was in the 30s, as I wasn't attached. I recall selling everything one early afternoon and buying back for less a few hours later, or maybe the next morning. I did buy on the market for a few pence lower than the placement at the same time. Then topped up on Friday, after most of the fall. It's affected my average but, as you'll know, it should be fine.

Thanks for mentioning HE1 on another BB; wouldn't be here without your enthusiasm.

ST, I say pure gamble as none of us know, however much research we do, exactly what will come out of the ground in Tanzania. So I am wondering what the % rate of success might be for exploration companies once they are drilling test holes.
I first bought in at 7.98p so I'm well ahead there, but have bought again twice – both buys now in profit too. In a sense I feel that keeping everything is a good plan as I've always done it, so the odds might favour me this time, or the next.

Hadch, I doubt a rights issue would be at all well received.
Unless they show that things really have turned around - profoundly - it would smack of going back to the bad ol' days. I just don't believe CC would do that.
Having said that, if they turn a corner in such a way as to be certain of success with their spending, and everyone can see it's a profitable company , a rights issue might be a good move and shouldn't then worry us unduly. Others might disagree.
301 TP reviews for April, so not far from Nebel's 300 estimate. Hopefully Nebel isn't writing them all himself ;-)
And running total for the last 12 months is 3112. So a month dropped out (May 2020) with around 100 fewer reviews than the month that replaced it.

I have a habit of being too loyal to a share (could've / should've sold SNG at 250p – but still confident of recovery there as the science works). So if I change my usual habit and top slice, and then this HE1 the 'Big One', that would be very annoying.

HE1 seems a pure gamble: when exploration comps start to drill test holes, does anyone know the % of success through the gas industry? My wife works in gas but she doesn't know the answer.

I remember an excellent post from a few months ago (can’t remember from whom - probably Ghia :-) to the effect that if the home trial didn’t throw up any safety concerns, it’d be worth piling in. I topped up at 133 (not a huge amount) so wish I’d waited but still content to have more shares than I had the day before.

Wyn, thanks very much for your thoughts from you TA point of view; very helpful. I'll be buying back-in soon, into my ISA, after selling what I had in my Fund and Share. If I can get 114p I'd be pretty happy but looks as though it could be a little more expensive.
If it's useful for anyone else to know, I sold my AGL yesterday morning (Thursday) and the cash still isn't available to move from the Fund and Share acc to the ISA. That's with HL. I'm guessing it'll be Tuesday before I can transfer (would've been Monday but Bank Holiday).
