CI, I fully agree that people have learned to shop online now, and read reviews to inform their decision. All bodes well for Eve.
As I type eve are showing +12.64% on HL so this is a good time to mention one concern I have, without appearing negative: Eve will have to continue to innovate their mattresses. They've done well this year as Which? chose their hybrid as the best buy – and what a year to be 'number 1'. Which? will come up with a new survey sooner or later ands I've read that at least one competitor has 'improved' (say they have anyway) the spec on their own hybrid. If Eve falls down the charts then that would be a concern for me. CC is excellent so I'm sure she'll have thought go this before me.

Thanks for taking the trouble to write such a full answer. Really appreciate that. I am thinking along the same lines because HE1 seems to have so much potential. None of us can be absolutely sure of the best route forward at any one time but if a number of people are thinking the same thing then one does have to consider that plan.

ST, hope you don’t mind me asking but are your eggs boiling while awaiting their CE mark? Do you see more upside here in HE1 once your eggs have been stamped with the lion mark and hopefully having risen in value? I’m in the same boat as you and just wondering how other people see the situation.
(Wyn would only say a retrace likely - to give us extra time - if the RSI said an unwind likely. Surely you can see he just calls it as he sees it :-)

Another comp of mine just RNS'd their AGM result ('all motions passed' routine etc). They also RNS'd an update on an important trial of theirs this morning at 7am; it's not a coincidence that both happened on the same day, imo.
I will certainly be looking for EVE RNSs on Wednesday morning 7am, just in case. (They have their AGM on Wednesday of course.)

I had a quick chat with a mum who's a private practice dentist this morning, at drop-off.
She said that she wears a hard plastic clear visor at the moment and so the face mask underneath gets used between patients and last around one hour (as then it gets a bit "unpleasant"). However, depending on specific procedure, she may use two face masks on a single patient.
Before the pandemic a facemark would not be changed between patients and presumably there was no visor then.
She said that at her practice she can take a new mask whenever she wishes but she knows of other 'commercial' (not sure what that means?) practices where they have limits and have to ration themselves on PPE to make sure they don't go over their allocation. I mentioned copper anti-viral masks and she was interested as she has heard of other properties of copper.

I just heard back from a relative who's a dental technician doing repairs to dentures and making adjustments etc. He meets the clients and works as close as a dentist.
To the question 'did you, before the pandemic, change your mask for each patient? The answer has come back 'No'. So I would guess that a 7 hr mask Pro Larva would be much better (post-pandemic) than a normal mask, used for multiple clients..

Utd guy, I haven't been to the dentist for 18 months now. You've got me thinking, did they put on a new mask with every patient? I'm not so sure.. Gloves yes, alway, but I'm guessing that they might wear a 7 hr mask.. for 7 hrs.
I will ask a dentist I know what they do now / used to do / what they expect to do after the pandemic.

Pahoo, whilst appreciating the conversation's moved on since this morning, out of an interest in the sector I looked up malaria testing and whilst there isn't *mass testing* there are at least tests, and some of types we'd recognise:

Just out of interest I looked back through my posts to when I first commented on TP review numbers, and found this comment of mine from Jan 7th, 2020 19:10hrs '... trustpilot reviews for November and December fell slightly in number, to 2.6 approx per day.'
So over two months (and November should have been busy with 2019's Black Friday event) the average was 2.6 reviews per day. Now we routinely get 8 or 9 a day, averaged over the month (and a minimum of around 5.7 per day in Jan, and 12.6 per day in March). It's a substantial contrast in fortunes.

Scouse, it's a couple of days ago thank you for posting that behind-the-scenes film of the advert. I've watched it a few times, and forwarded the link to others. What struck me is the quality of the team, making every effort to get things just-so. That's not the advert of a desperate company; it's an assured effort that's instills pride and confidence. I'm sure CC will have been closely involved. Under the old regime it might have been a case of throwing money at a problem (probably quite a bit of money) but under CC I think it's another step on her slowly-does-it rebuilding of the company towards profit.
It could be that I'm seeing what I want to see but I don't think so.

The test card was very different to the sloth but referenced said sloth. Test card was about going to bed and the animals are about waking up, refreshed.
I wonder what the next waking animal will be..

Danny, I think you’ve been following what we’ve all been saying so that probably gives you an idea of what people think. All I can add is that the share price has always risen into a TU, even sometimes as late as the day before, so if you can wait until July your shares should be worth more than they are now. Then you can either get out just before the news or read the update and then make a decision. The next update will be an important one. Atb. D

Last year they gave a TU for the first 4 months on the same day as the AGM, but only because of the 'unique' circumstances of lockdown - anyway that's what they said.
Then, on 23/06/2020 announced 'Eve Sleep plc: Notice of trading update for 22/07/2020 '.
So I imagine that we are 4 or 5 weeks away from them announcing the July 2021 TU.

The September '03/09/2020 Eve Sleep plc: Trading statement' seemed to be an 'extra', a revision to their previous forecast:
'As previously set-out in the trading update of 22 July 2020 trading was strong in May and June and this momentum continued into early July. Since then trading patterns have remained above the Board's expectations through the rest of July and August. It is now clear that notwithstanding some important trading periods in the coming four months, the Company is on-course to exceed the Board's original expectations'.

That's my reading of the history anyway..

Not saying there will be a TU, or even an announcement of one, but that would be the time to get anything out should they wish.
Last summer and out of the blue they RNS'd the boost in sales news ahead of the TU, so that actually the TU proved to be a bit of a disappointment when it came (Wyn thought to dampen expectations which was astute of him).
Maybe they will play it the other way this year?

Don't forget the AGM:
'The AGM of the Company will be held at the Company's office at 29A Kentish Town Road, London, NW1 8NL at 10:00 am on Wednesday 26 May 2021'
Could be just 'authorised to set the level of renumeration for the accountants' etc. but also an opportunity to release info – dates ahead or a mini TU – should they wish?
