Incidentally, and in order to write on the subject of the BB, our family had to pay for two Randox LFT tests over Easter (for children under 12 who can't get a covid recovery letter) to fly. Came to around £23. So I'm still not entirely sure that there wouldn't be some value in an AffiDX that works. Having said that, people who say the test is dead make a good point.

Now I am thrilled that the sp is going up. Sadly, overall, I am around 30% down still (as I didn't sell when wyn was selling, nor buy back when he was buying – even though wyn gave plenty of notice what was more likely-than-not to happen) but, as someone who doesn't trade or use charts (I do check the RSI though now, and didn't buy something today as it looks overbought) I hope that AVCT does close above 140 on HL shortly and we can all celebrate when the sp goes much higher. I think my average in F&S account is slightly higher at £2.05 so still a way to go there.

Yes, wyn, seems a bit harsh doesn't it! I only have a few £100 there so not a problem and will come back no doubt. I did make a bit my first time.

I also had some Glen mining a few years ago but nothing happened (other than continual small falls) so I sold them: Now look at them. So atm I'm just sticking with things I have as, sooner or later, things (often) come back. I'm resisting putting any new money into shares as I have a buy to let mortgage and that's now costing 5%, and it doesn't make sense to sell G4M (or eve!) now to move into other shares which are again a risk. (If something were certain, I would – but what is ever certain with shares..)

In 2021 Masood Choudhry bought some (I guess he was new-ish then so maybe won't buy again for a while?) but since he paid 4.872p he might think he should've waited. It was after the AGM had been announced so maybe someone will be tempted again in a couple of weeks.

This paragraph seems to have caused the drop in G4M's sp -26.39% so far this morning (and ties in with what I mentioned yesterday, if you believe in TP numbers. G4M actually seem to be a pretty good outfit and I have a small amount in there):

'Revenues and EBITDA slightly lower than FY22 consensus market expectations(3) due to weaker than expected consumer demand during February and March 2022'

Scotty, Easter was later in April this year. If the Easter eve sale is busy then TP may reflect a late April boost, or perhaps May will benefit instead. The patterns of revenue and TP reviews do seem to coincide (to me they do anyway). Will be interesting to see.

Personally I don't care as much what people write in their reviews as the number of reviews. Rather like wyn and his charts I think numbers are the crucial thing and lower numbers take into account 'bad' reviews already submitted, which then impact negatively on subsequent sales. (Some TP reviewers have actually said that they bought despite poor reviews of eve, which does mean reviews have a direct impact on sales too. Sales and revenue affect the eve sp.)

Atm we are on 94 reviews for April with only 10 days left, and last year there were 301 reviews in April. Coincidence or something to do with Ukraine and the cost of living crisis?

Eve is on the edge of profitable so as an indicator, I personally see it as one of the best ones I have between TU's.

Put it another way, if we were on 3000 reviews this month (10 times a year ago) I'd be going overdrawn at the bank to buy eve stock right now. As it is I fear that the next TU will say revenue is softer than previously predicted.

Having said that, DFS and newly-discovered French review number could mean things are not as bad as all that.

Also, there hasn't been much else to obsess about since the last TU :)

J'avais essayé ce matelas chez mon fils il y a 3 ans, seulement 3 nuits et depuis, j'en rêvais ! Je l'ai acheté ! Bonheur absolu !!! Et j'ai découvert ce matin que l'on peut retirer le dessus de la housse avec une fermeture éclair pour la laver ! Génial !

Le principal intéressé en déplacement n'aura pas pu tester encore le produit. La satisfaction est donc positive dans la limite d'un utilisateur sur 2 à ce jour. A voir donc pour l'entière satisfaction.

This makes perfect sense. Eve job adverts have mentioned they need people in the office as Bank Holidays can be busy. It means that people who aren't fussed about UK holidays can take off another important date (to them) instead. (The company my wife works for allows their Indian staff to take holidays when their religion has an important day, whether Hindu, Christian, Muslim or other, and the system works for them.)
