IMHO we won't see the likes of £1.70 again if ever. It's all pointing to a Bullish upward trend and long may it continue.

Was always going to break out past £1.80 but I never thought it would be quite this quick. Hold on tight looks like we have cleared the £1.80 support Level.

I agree with your comments. Surely if BT have been designated the Choice of Last Resort by OFCOM if might be worth not bidding and letting it go banckrupt that way BT doesn't pay anything for TT and the customers have a choice whether they want to rent a connection from BT or go elsewhere.

Either way its all good news for BT.

With what's going on at TT and the possibility of a BT takeover and capturing at least a certain percentage of the current connections that TT have hopefully it will push the price up to £2.00.

Personally I think we are all too aware how BT is susceptible to negative news and this could happen at any time. I would be happy to find another support level at £180 and consolidate that.

Something is brewing for sure the SP is ready to break out past £2. Its hitting highs we haven't seen in two years.....!

It was always going to be difficult for the Altnets and given that there are around 100 plus and they are not breaking even with their connection take-ups less than the 36% needed it must be good news for BT.

AK is driving through the FTTP builds and a take up of 36% and above is excellent news.

It's little wonder we are seeing new support levels. This should breach £2 by the end of the year if the FTTP rollout and take-up of customers above 36% continues.

With good news like this you would have thought the Market would react somewhat better. Ah well this is BT I suppose. Get someone or something to post something negative and we see it dive.....!

The problem with Peaks & Troughs is knowing when to call them. If only we had a magic wand and bought on the troughs and sold on the peaks we would all be rich by now. . . . . . .

And . . . as if by magic the SP starts to drop. UBS have an agenda and that is to peddle any negativity regarding BT.

Lets hope we can counteract this by releasing something positive.

Someone or something has trigged this Stock into life. Let's hope it's not another false dawn.

Whatever was relayed in the Annual GM yesterday has been greeted positively. Are we actually going to see a nice but steady increase into the £2.00 level.

At lease the £1.60 support level held last week on very weak trading for BT. I would like to think we could get another support level above £1.80. Hang on in there guys £2 here we come.

Nothing really that good from AK and no clear evidence that the company are doing anything about the structure going forward. I have a feeling we will stagnate and tread water until next Full Year results.....Oh Well.

Judging by the share price movements the last week and the continued support level of £1.60 we now seemed to have turned another corner and are heading back up towards £1.70.

Lets hope our dear Alison gives us a little hope with the results. All we need is to hear something meaningful and has a lasting long affect on the SP.

I am not sure a bid will ever come TBF. Although I stand to be corrected and hope I am because a bid would probable mean an increase in value to the SP.

It's not clear what is happening but I suspect some Fund managers have a duty to take head of any related news on companies where they have a vested interest.

I decided quite some time ago that I am keeping my shares for 18 months and will see what happens after that. I have another year or so to go and I firmly believe if we have a slither of good news going forward on the 22nd then £2 or upwards would be achievable in an years time. We do have a support level of £1.60 and we are probably going to test that today.

Currently it's quite a bit unsettling with the price falling as it has in the last couple of days for no apparent reason other than DB giving a negative Downgrade to sell.

Cmon Alison pull a rabbit out of the bag on the 22nd.

It's a five year deal and hopefully will pull in some spin-offs from other parts of Government. Always good to know the Government still trust BT to deliver good quality infrastructure. A shame that companies like SKY don't see it quite that way.
