I guess we might have the pleasure of some comments from our pal SAV next week. Its creeping up to £1.60 again. That is where it usually goes South again and we get the same old D&G from SAV.

Fair play to him he is so predictive.

We will only have an inkling when the price moves significantly North or South. That's always the time we normal traders find out.

Abacus, I hope we don't have to wait that long. I am convinced that when we do break out of £1.60 the rise to £2 won't be a long wait.

IMHO someone, something, somewhere does not want this share to breakout from £1.60. Not sure who is responsible for this but surely it can only be sustained for a certain period of time before it's going to breach the £1.60.

I am sure AK has plans and the sooner she shares them with the market the better. We need another shot in the arm soon to keep the momentum going.

I will keep my shares for some time yet and see what the next 18 months bring. Hopefully we would have broken through that elusive £1.60.

If it manages to break the £1.60 mark I am hoping that £2 would be the next support level. Only time will tell.

Yep very sad to hear that Mushy, I have been through the exact same thing 3 times in the last 4 years and it doesn't get any easier. Perhaps you might be able to look for similar vacancies across BT or cross train within the company?

So AK is being pressured to reduce head count. I wonder what that might do to the share price.

Are we going to see a break-out from £1.60. Who know where it heads to from there?

Yes it's good news. We do occasionally have good news filtering out but the share price does not seem to reflect the news. It's the same old story shares go up slightly on good news, then "low and behold" they head south once again.

It's becoming the theme from BT. I hope that it starts to change and there is something to cheer about but until we can brake out from £1.60 I don't see anything changing.

Well its not necessarily a Downgrade from a Broker its any Negative sentiment or narrative posted on the Internet or anywhere else that will send the share South. They will not be getting my shares anytime soon though.

All this great news and hardly any movement for BT in the Market.

Next bit of negativity it will drop again. You couldn't make it up. It makes you think that someone or something is conspiring to hold this share back at all costs?

I tend to agree with all your comments Expat.

One thing that really bothers me though is that AK does not seem to want to do anything about the share price and that does worry me a bit. This is not the first time we have had negative information spouted about BT and the board just seem to sit back and accept it as if to say well . . . "It is what it is".

Well I think they should be thinking about counteracting all this negative news with some positive stuff. There must be some somewhere?

Your not invested in BT my friend but you always seem to be here spouting your Doom & Gloom every time there is a negative movement in this share. You have been quiet and have hidden under a rock for the last 2 months. Every time there is a negative stance you are on it like a rash. It's getting too predictable and really is laughable.

Do you honestly think I or anyone else care about your comments? It certainly makes no difference to me as I am holding these for the medium term at least. So any setback can be expected.

We move on and lets see where we are in 18 months. Please return my friend and applaud us all for holding out past the £2 mark.
