Yep I read the piece yesterday however, if certain Alt Net companies are using the ducts etc that belong to BT does that mean they have to pay a fee to BT for their use?

There were also two big sells that came in around 16:35 one for 1.9 & the other was 7.9 million. So the buy could well have been cancelled out by those two sells.

It's really testing the £2 level for sure. If it can maintain above that going into the November Half Year results I think we would have done good.

The ex-dividend adjustment where the share price drops by the amount of the dividend to reflect the new equity value. the ex-dividend date, new shareholders are excluded from receiving the dividend, leading to a downward adjustment of the stock price. This adjustment ensure fairness between those who buy or sell shares around the dividend payment.

So fingers crossed and unless the market knows something we don't or any negative information it seems to be holding. I hope we can keep above £2.

The SP is certainly testing the support levels this week. Interesting to see whether we hold above £2 by E.O.P. today.

If your talking in general terms then yes I agree. But this last week the market has declined.

No significant news just the odd snippets here and there. But we/us don't always get the first hand news. My guess is that the City know something whether that's good or bad remains to be seen.

I noticed a big sell came in yesterday @ circa 16:36 of over a million shares. Not sure if some kind of company or institute are dumping on the market. The SP has been steadily declining this week for some reason. It's going to test the £2 today for sure.

I hope we can stay above it because it is an important level for the move to £2.50.

They are not having my shares thats for sure. And, I will buy back after next weeks dividend.

What about another Big Tree shake before another big rise? The main thing is that it seems to have found another support level above £2. We probably won't see much movement from now to X-Mas unless there is anything from dear Alison.........!

I think I need to put on record, what I meant was that if the share price ever reaches £5 then I will consider selling. Until then I will wait and DRIP the shares. I never committed to saying it would reach £5, nobody can predict that. All I am saying is that things IMHO are looking good for BT.

Also, be aware I have a diverse portfolio and there are probably good opportunities in the market but I rate BT and happy to stick for a while.

Aus, it's immaterial what we (the personal shareholders) think. We can theorise and speculate as much as we like and there are some very good articles for and against the BT share price and its aspiration's.

However, there is always one variably that stands firm and that's the Market. It knows a good firm when it see one. They always get the first sniff of anything that is happening to the big companies. The SP is holding at circa £2.05 and there have been many attempts to push this lower but the Market intervenes. Looking at the trajectory of the SP recent charts I still believe the SP can reach £2.50 in the next 6 months.

I for one am holding and Dripping these for the foreseeable future.

Yep STP. It wouldn't surprise me with a fair wind that they would reach treble figures in the not too distant future.

Lets hope Morgan Stanley use their Share Buyback program wisely.
