CER - this company not only has gold mines in its own right, but also holds 22% of EKA and 6% of VOG ..... Thanks to their recent settlement in ukraine (or wherever), they also have a stash of money in the bank ...... I cut my stake by 50% on the settlement but am more than happy to hold the balance.

CHP - hi m8 - before opening bell, i would have thought it a no-brainer to buy, but am now a bit non-plussed by the lack of movement ...... if you are not holding any, then i can't believe you can go (seriously) wrong in buying .... if you already hold, then i think i would not now add, even though i did a couple of days back at a smidge above this level.

CHP - all a bit curious ..... i have yet to read and digest the oilbarrel report, but it all sounds very bullish .... however, furst thing this morning, and the price has not moved even a fraction ..... ok, this may be due to the sale at 08:05 of 1 million shares (only £175k), but i would certainly have expected a more enthusiastic reception ..... perhaps it will come later in the day. For all that, where does that leave CHP? ..... if i have read it correctly, and no doubt i shall be corrected if i have not, CHP has got the licence it was seeking and seems well placed to secure more exploratory rights and all at a pretty good price ...... BUT what CHP seemingly does not yet have is oodles of the black stuff ...... so is it still any more than a better class of blue sky explorer? Comments please

DOO - fall due to general fallout and need for some to cover losses by seling shares on which they had profits etc.

GGA - never heard of them, but having just seen their (October) figures and ceo comment, can see no reason to invest unless someone looking to t/o

DOO - sp has recovered smartly from recent falls including yesterday's ...... no obvious reason other than perhaps the dust is now settling after ELP shambles

CHP - being a catholic country, it is more than likely that Monday (probably) and Tuesday were public holidays ..... For all that, it may be something of a rationalisation to pinpoint that as the reason for the lack of news ..... Let's just hope that there is nothing untoward in what at lest appears to be a delay in an announcement.

DOO - read my post of today on BFC ..... the fall here is probably just backwash from ELP debacle and the lemmings moving their funds elsewhere until more news develops .... i have taken quite a shine to DOO and think it has a long term future, but certainly do not expect much to happen until at least the end of tbis year ..... i bought yesterday because i felt the price had fallen sufficiently to make this reasonable value (see post), and may even buy some more if the price continues to drop away.

ELP - frede65 - I fear you are grasping at straws .... IMO, DNO/ELP were under no pressure to release info EXCEPT under sec rules if they have info that might unduly affect sp ..... For myself, I am glad i got out at 25.5 (at a loss) and even made a small turn shorting same (which helped lessen the pain).

CRDA - well run company; good last figures; right sector with improving demand for speciality chemicals ..... Well I am buying even if non of you follow!

EOL - though there may be a feww largish trades, the overall volume is no greater than the average

GOOG - I have dealt on and off in GOOG for the last 6 months or so. My own view is that they have now become just too unpredictable and and without any pattern so shall stay out.

EOL - nothing new, but I continue to hold them at a small loss and will probably stay put ..... ditto with UKB

TPH - well that was a dull adventure, resulting in a small loss ..... clearly not enough general interest in this stock and am now out completely

GGEA/GOOG .... if you insist on dealing, then at least do it in GOOG as you can deal there after UK hours, which is when all the action occurs ..... For myself, I shall stay clear as I think there has been a complete change in market sentiment and it is far far too dangerous to call a direction

QXL - and vice versa .... remember the dotcom bubble!

CHP - just ignore all the rubbish talked about super-duper valuations etc etc ..... guaranteed to be a load of tosh! ..... for similar, read some of the crap that was spouted on ELP over the last weeks (i lost money too!), where the share was going to be worth £20 or some such

CHP - while it is true i have increased my holding, it still only stands at about 40% of my norm ..... but then my norm is based on shares like barclays, pearson and pipex, so i feel my holding here is on the brave side of prudent...... Hope that helps, but don't be guided by me for i am at lest as capable of losing money as the next guy (or gal!)

GGEA/GOOG - debbie - if you already hold, then i suggest you sell into any deecnt rally, but PLEASE don't buy! ..... see my posts about this to cemetry over the last few days.

BFC - ever since BFC announced the start of production, the price has tumbled, no doubt due to the lemmings moving their funds after the news is out ..... at 08:08 sp had fallen another 20p to 140/141, but for no obvious reason ..... it is well known that thbis company does not enjoy the most robust of financial health, but given the interest and future of biofuels and the potential of bfc to be a t/o target, this one is worth considering.
