RE: Some news likely today9 Sep 2022 12:02
Penguins,
The NG data is still very early days and would appear to be for just a single well, that's unless I've missed an RNS stating that they have both wells online.
As per the post just a few days ago, it would seem quite normal for flow rates to vary in the early days, especially with fluids (e.g. condensate) impacting performance. I'm clearly not an expert in such matters, but a post earlier this week did shed some light on this.
For me, right now, I'm assuming the following:
1) just one well online.
2) flow rates are not yet stabilised and may take a further couple of weeks
3) side track will follow in due course, see point 2, not expecting that to come online until December, but could easily be delayed until Feb.
4) The production from the sidetrack is not subject to hedge, and it's supposedly from a productive play, as ever proof of the pudding is in the eating.
5) fracking not been mentioned to date, but this is clearly an option, figures are clearly excluding any potential upside in regard of this.
I'd like an update on the above and also I'd like an update on cash position and funding for the sidetrack. Brockham income is certainly going to help the financial position.
One can speculate as to what may be happening; is there a bid on the table for SFB (production + storage) as it's value is clearly significantly in excess of the MCAP of ANGS. Is there bad news with GL trying to re-work finances? Or is there going to be a huge strategy update with details on what they will do over the next 12 months at SFB, Lidsey, Brockham and Balcombe? There is so much potential here for ANGS to bring home some serious bacon, but that first domino needs to fall the correct way to kick it all off.
