There is commonality in the two accounts, but one has to read between the lines.

This was my take away:

Each company was quite happy to have been given funding by a munch of rainbow chasing muppets, UKOG because it meant that they could string out the directors remuneration for another 3 years and AME because they get to skim a bit of cream off the top of the true costs. As for shareholders of UKOG, each company was quite happy to post minimal information and half-truths so as to hide the real story in Turkey. It's a dead duck play, always was and always will be.

You can ignore 100% of what Mirasol posts, she/he is an Oil and Gas hater. Probably one of the XR / Just Stop Oil brigade.

He/she tries to distract and disrupt, it's not a "in ye face" approach, but one that tries to hurt sentiment. I don't know why LSE have failed to act and ban the user. Certainly he/she is not here as an investor.

The Shapps statement will be about nuclear power, he was on the BBC this morning and was caught out lying about the funding. I want that new plant to go ahead and it's great that they've ruled out any Chinese investment (they've not ruled out EDF though have they!).

The funding statement he made was a lie, immediately called out. He said that the funding has now guaranteed that the new facility will be built, Sizewell C. What he failed to mention was that the latest funding announced by the Gov was only sufficient to get it through the initial phases of design and planning, and that they were many many billions shy of the funding needed to build the facility. Never trust a Tory to give the full picture. I'm sure that they'll be leaning on EDF for the bulk of the funding and that'll be a kick in the teeth for us Brits. Pathetic, the Gov needs to get Sizewell C funded without foreign interest.

I've called it several times already, 10p by Easter. Come back and tell me I'm wrong when you're scoffing your chocolate eggs.

Do some proper accounting, look at asset values and the future cashflow, then the huge cash calls for any further exploration/development (e.g. West Newton). Only the rampers keeping the SP up, and the CEO is guilty of being one of them.

Do rampers really believe that UKOG with SS can get £1 BILLION investment. LMAO, they couldn't even get existing shareholders to take up the most recent open offer.

No way on this planet that the Government are going to give them a grant either, it simply doesn't work like that! The Government would expect a major player to invest in the development of their own facilities. Look at Shell, avoiding huge TAX bills through investing in exploration. Problem with UKOG is that they cannot make a profit with what they have and they don't have any cash to do further exploration or development, they are a dead duck, delisting as soon as the CEO has decided he has enough $$$$ to retire to the Bahamas.

And any talk of UKOG selling the salt caverns for a nice penny, LMAO, they are practically worthless, their value only comes with the huge investment needed.

But keep clinging onto those false hopes rampers, the SP is heading to 0.04 then 0.02p soon enough.

Everyone knows Adrian's agenda. Anyone who believes a word he spouts on Twitter or using any of his accounts on LSE is a twerp. The guy is a grade A moron who needs professional help. Do yourself a favour Adrian and invest in a managed fund where you can rely on someone with intelligence to look after your interests. Stick to sticking new stickers on fire extinguishers and playing Beatles music.

SS is a liar, he's not delivered on anything promised and taking a ridiculous salary at the expense of shareholders, shareholders that he treats with utter contempt.

YAWN.

It will change very little. UKOG remain quite silent on the matter.

Water injection will save them on disposal charges, but that alone will not get them anywhere near addressing the massive shortfalls in their operating overheads, UKOG will remain in a huge net loss position.

Water injection may provide pressure support for HH1 output, but that is an unknown outcome. HH2z was originally reported as a play into a "near virgin" Portland play that was separate to that accessed by HH1. So on that basis it may provide zero pressure support.

It could adversely impact HH1 oil output, as it could impair the oil output.

So IF UKOG are doing the HH2z overhaul, YAWN, then don't be betting on a great outcome. It offers little by way of cost savings and offers very little in terms of potential increased in oil output. Even a doubling of oil production to ~120bopd will still leave a massive hole in UKOG's profit/loss statment.

I'll only close by short CFD when the SP hits 0.02p, I will not have to wait that long.

Then it's a free fall to the 0.02's as PI's realise the company is worthless.
Then it's company closure as they'll not be able to raise any cash to pay SS.
If SS would do some PR and the odd interview then it could change the sentiment in the short term, aside from that they have jack to offer.
