UJO is overvalued. Wressle is a short term cash play at best, the updated figures are very telling.

Biscathorpe is a high risk.
And then you get the rampers laying claim to majors being interested. YAWN. Shell would not be interested in 800 bopd in an onshore play that will have declined to tiny volumes in 3 years time. They want 10's of thousands of bopd in offshore plays.
UJO is a dog. £1 LMAO, 10p is more realistic.

HH Kimmeridge is a dead play, the Weald Kimmeridge is a dead play. That leaves them with Portland (yawn) and then Loxley gas (yawn).
They'll not get a partner for Loxley, nobody is dumb enough to nibble on that worm.
Thus UKOG delisting in late 2023 / early 2024 is a very real prospect.

Shell, BP, etc have zero interest in West Newton, they'll never be interested in a dead duck with NIMBY/XR issues galore. They want BIG oil and BIG gas.

With the windfall tax on the back burner for now, I've invested in the larger O&G players and just 2 junior oilers. I'd not touch UJO with a barge pole, it's a bag of dog...

I'm buying more and going long, not trading this, but I'm sure that there are plenty who are happy to see the SP slide south a little, the 2nd compressor and sidetrack (into a well known play) will create huge demand. The SP will certainly head north by 20%+ on 2 trading days between now and Xmas, so for the traders it's a case of timing, I'm sure plenty will be thinking that this can head a little further south before the sidetrack update drops.

As I've called out for some time, UKOG is going one way and one way only.
Turkey is a dead duck, a time waster and PI cash eater. It'll not deliver anything commercial.
HH is watering out and without pressure support and water disposal the asset level view will soon show that the site is losing money.

The problem is not the next Million, it is how many more millions from Wressle given the updated report. We have all seen the figures, assessed them and understand that Wressle is only a short term play. Sure the cash flow has been welcome and hats off the UJO and their partners in the Wressle success...

BUT... (and yes that it a HUGE BUT).. Wressle will not see sufficient cash to UJO to cover the development of West Newton (if indeed there is any future in that asset).

The short term SP has been played well, the rampers suckered plenty in, and maybe a few made profits, well done to those that did.

But as I posted yesterday, UJO are now on a slide, into the mid 20's and then into the 10's. They simply do not have the assets in play to make them a mid-term investment prospect. Trade it while you can, may be the odd spike, but with so much red tape / appeals / planning headaches, it'll be a long time until UJO and their partners get back to WN (if at all) and when they do it'll be a huge cash call, HUGE.

Share buy-back is one opportunity for a spike, other than that, it's pretty grim. Get out and get into other players, plenty about, just do some research...

I truly hope ANGS can return there and perform a thorough EWT, why should it be blocked? In my opinion the fact that permission was granted to drill the well and perform a short EWT means that ANGS should be given the nod for a thorough EWT, the planning process is absolute pants to block a thorough EWT, our county councils are a joke the world round!!!
