And Ggp could still sell the Havieron stake.

Yes. I anticipate reorganisation and a vote, for the reasons outlined.Though the RNS holds it open.

For many reasons, I think this will all be pulled together, so far as can be done. Any vote, acquisition(s), listing and raise to include purchase price(s) and additional capex in support of debt.

On the ASX listing, and I realise some don’t agree, my reading of the ASX listing RNS indicates ( to me) a vote will only be required in the event of reorganisation. Ie. ‘top hat’ company.

I’m not sure that an acquisition, or part thereof, of Telfer, necessarily needs a shareholder vote. It will, I think, depend on value, the articles, authority to issue shares, and maybe company law. That sort of thing.

And I think the discussed acquisitions may fall in line, if they occur, with a FS and ASX float to accommodate the raise, the latter of which is a matter on which, dependent how it’s done, may require a vote.

The tolling agreement was not finalised in the Newcrest JV. If Ggp don’t have a hand in Telfer, they’ll need to thrash that out.

You have it wrong. I am betting the ‘good news’ may be tempered by the circumstances of the fund raise, if that news goes anywhere near raising enough for Ggp to buy Telfer and Havieron outright.

It will hopefully clear the way ahead for future buyers - in which case, I might buy again.

No googling required, just a look at their last accounts and previous cash burn. They have options, but little, maybe no cash a this point.

I see Hydrogen replied to my query on Ggp the main forum about

“BOFA have already openly revealed that Newmont will take a mix of cash and (GGP) paper for Telfer/Hav.”

Bank of America appear to have said,

“Telfer might be a mix of cash and equity”.

I thank him for responding, effectively on a possible dilutive exercise. I think, on Newmont’s objectives, cash is their preference.
