Jayhayes - look at the trades. Don’t you think it’s a bit odd that after an hour or so of nothing happening you suddenly get two piddly trades at 2p below the trades that preceded them? There was no justification for such a drop on the trading, and without them the closing price would have been more like 5% down, not 15%. In my opinion the MMS simply saved those trades from earlier in the day and pushed them through just before close to create a false drop (not showing that they were delayed). On Monday they can use that to panic a few into selling at artificially low prices and then move the price back up to where it was making them money and creating a false rise, thus encouraging more buys/sells, and making more money. They would call it making a market but when they use tricks like this I call it daylight robbery. If you are new to this just be very cynical and know that this market is as bent as a nine bob note, and you won’t go far wrong! Good luck!
