Well AreilArrow I will not name names but I, personally, would not inxclude you in that number. Your attitude has been consistent throughout. Others however have noticeably jumped on the recent uptick to promote thier cause.

It is easy to decry the "doubters" and even more the "naysayers" and yet it would be disingenuous to suggest that, whatever their motives, they have not been justified in their caution or negativity over recent times. Those expressing "scadenfruade" at their current predicament have a very short memory. Nothing is nailed on. I fully expect hhe current optimism to be borne out in reality but ti suggest that the "doubters" have been proven wrong is premature and ignores that yhey have been, largely , correct for a very long time.; as many of most LTH holders losses will prove...

I have always yried to be moderate in my own assessment and remain so. We have all seen many false dawns.

I sincerely hope the current hyperbolic optimism is borne out in reality. I fear that, whilst I do expect the spike to happen, the extent if it might disappoint if the BOD do mot deliver the oitcome that many are relying upon yhem to deliver.

I hope they do but my experience over the last ten years if being an AEX and Solo shareholder is that ghey consistently over promise and underdeliver....

For crying out loud frank calm down - we have already been told in the recent AEX RNS that they had brought forward preparations for the C1 drill for crying out loud. " .... advance certain pre-drilling operations for the Chikumbi-1 well." This simply adds more weight to what has already been broadcast.

We all know that you are desperate for the sp to rise asap but your solo ramping campaign is not going to do it frank and makes you look somewhat maniacal; so why not just sit back, relax and await the news eh?

"happening" or "underway" and "drilling" are not necessarily the same thing frank..... simply accessing a drilling rig could constitute "happening" or "underway". It could mean many things frank and drilling is only one of an endless possible interpretations.

Did he actually say "drilling" or is that just your own interpretation? If he didn't I would not try and read more into it than is meant.... I though you would have realised by now that more often than not these announcements are designed to be ambiguous; that enables people to read anything they like into their statements. And they certainly appear to have hooked you! ;0)

And CP even "asset based funding" with or without a 25 Development License would still need financing and without an income stream who would look at that? ( An income stream post C1 would be, what 12 months away - minimum 8 months) Surely not another Riverfort catastrophe?

Not impossible of course but it looks a bit "chicken and egg" methinks.

CP, I am not suggesting it is connected to Ruvuma (I do not see that it can be) it was zeppo that inferred it..... If that is not what he was suggesting then it is for him to explain what it was, because I do not see that the RRE model works for Solo.

Oh and by that I mean that Solo are not the Operator of Ruvuma and once the License extension is granted and Farm (change of operator to ARA) Solo will have to find the cash to fund theri 25% of the development - and as I have been saying for a long time maybe a multiple drill programme.

Are you suggesting that Solo will farm - out or leverage their 25% to acquire additional assets? If so then that acquisition will come at a considerable cost; that is, the loss of future production potential from Ntorya. No-one is lending on Tanzaian assets and a farm--out or partial sale of Solo's Ntorya 25% will require the explicit approval of the Operator and the Tanzanian Govt. And the risk is that if Solo cannot some up with their funding obligation they may not have that 25% for too much longer..... Remember Bounty Oil and Gas?

Oh really zebbo? So do you not think that the fact that I am invested in AEX and Solo does not indicate that I realise that gains are made on potential?! IF I didn't why would I be here.

But it appears that, unlike you, having been invested in both these stocks ( and many others ) for several years I realise that not everything happens according to plan, nor at the speed that some investors would like it to, no matter what the BOD or other commentators say.

Oh and by the way, I am fully conversant with the methodology used by Rockrose for their acquisitions but you are comparing apples and pears zebbo - the balance sheets of the two companies are not even comparable and therefore I very much doubt that the strategy used at RRE is replicable by Solo unless on a far more minor scale. Moreover please explain what relevance RRE has got for development of Ntorya and our License extension? Which as I have explained I believe is the most significant potential sp catalyst over the next few weeks and months.

You make a good point ArielArrow BUT I still think that the C1 Spud is the prime sp mover. IF they do manage to pull off a material acquisition with a finance package with advantageous commercial terms than that too would be a significant boost. But I cannot help think that an acquisition which includes a significant and material income stream (5,000 BOPD) would come with a commensurate price tag an income producing maybe but at what price? What is that old adage? "If something looks too good to be true, it usually is...."
