I have to agree with Codey and Amtech. Let's just concentrate on what we know and avoid chasing rainbows. ... A drill is what is needed. If that involves third party "involvement" then all well and hood. But as we are told we do not need additional funding for this why would we even entertain such thoughts? Unless of course we don't have the funding after all....?

I said at least 18p TT..... that said you may be right TipTop and if you are then I am sure many posters and shareholders will be very happy. I however have my own targets and I will be sticking to them, whether as a total exit or more likely a major "top slice". In my opinion once the a share price has a larger downside than it has upside it is time to take some money off the table. Not doing so has cost me dearly in the past. That is not to say that I would not be looking for another "re-entry" at a later stage.....

I tend to agree TipTop hence my ambition for an 18p target price or better - but I do think it is likely to be a "staccato" ascent....

TipTop I would suggest that most of the PI shares will become available fairly quickly once the sp starts to rise; there are an awful lot of "disgruntled" and "impatient" LTH's here that have averaged down several times who will simply be looking for an opportunity to get out with the shirt intact.

I will not be one of those by the way - my average is circa 3.5p and I will be looking for something in excess of my last exit point at 18p.

If an RNS had been "lodged" it would typically be released within a hour....

Kej, I too have total empathy with you. I have often been accused of many things, including multiple ID's, "calling my own book" (even by some who should know better) and even being in the pay of the BOD or conversely, the MM's - dependent on whether the SP is going up or down; and sometimes in the same week!

Some people do not seem to understand that a natural law of physics dictates that to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. On this board (LSE) I attempt to be that balancing equation when I think it appropriate and every one needs to see the other side of the argument (devil's advocate), to be challenged on their confirmation bias, even if they do not like to admit it to themselves....

I strongly suggest that any idea of a December/January Spud is now nothing but wishful thinking... but I have always believed that it was a "long shot". However I am more concerned at getting the License Extension, Farm-Out and PSA agreed asap....

I could not agree with you more cp. The timing here is vital and maybe influence the sp upon return to trading and maybe influence the timing and price of the offer.... Does that therefore mean that the timing of the offer will be influenced by the date or otherwise of the License Extension? I do not believe this can be a consideration - therefore will have to be calculated on the assumption that the License Extension will NOT have happened. Otherwise, conceivably, the placing could wait for ever...!!

This appears to me to be a totally disproportionate drop on the back of relatively minor volume and value of "sells". If you trust that the License will be extended before the 31st then this looks like a buying opportunity. I think it is a 50:50 but there is a lot more upside than downside in my view hence I have picked up a few more. Unfortunately very little spare cash in the Crusty bank account currently so only minor :-(

Based on past performance Mid November would be really pushing it. Once the rig is onsite it would need to be "commissioned" and then receive sign off from agencies before being put into use. It would take at least 6 weeks and often 8 weeks for commissioning before getting the necessary approvals. There is unlikely to be anyone from the Tanz Civil Service to sign off on the rig between the 21st Dec and 2nd (likely 6th) January.
