No crl perhaps they don't but trading houses like Renaissance have the scale and balance sheet not only to benefit from reacting to movements and shifts in momentum but to actually actually create and dictate them.... For them it is something approaching a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Yet again though I am not worried at all by these temporary movements, even those created by "shorters"; as previously stated I am a long term investor of these shares and will simply use any dips to top up my holdings as cash flow and movement of other holdings allow.

Well maybe PoC but for some it is not purely about the price but also the timelines and opportunity cost - and many might think that they are better waiting until some point in the future to invest even if that means they might (I stress might) be paying a little more for it. There will be some who bought 8/9 months ago at todays price that may well have decided to give up on that wait? Maybe to return once progress has been made on a few more fronts. And let's be honest who could blame them?

I wouldn't disagree Vamp but unfortunately (in some respects) they will no longer be AEX "boots".... ceratinly not at Ntorya and, if we sell off our "operatorship" of Nyuni and KIliwani there neither. Then we will become nothing more than another "portfolio Investment Company" of the likes of Solo/Scir and others. I donlt know about you but I had never envisaged investing in that -0 I thought I was buying into a once upon a time Producing Oil and Gas company...

Miserable only because so many posters on this board have been telling me that I should expect to see a "wall of news" on AEX that would lead to fantastic sp rises this year and yet here I am having spent all my money on AEX stock and still have nothing to spend on my family's Xmas pressies BP.

So no specific assumptions about the quantity of increased reserves then, just a restatement of the same expectations with greater assurance due to the use of 3D then? Well my own opinion is that for the seismic results to take the sp over 1p the increase in reserves will have to be significant and that will rely largely upon the new Jurassic targets in adding to that increase.

I certainly hope that we do see that increase otherwise we will be waiting for a spud date before we see a sustained rise above 1p. That or a successful remediation of KN1 (without significant dilution) and, whilst I live in hope, I won't be holding my breath for that.

Oh and incidentally I broadly agree with you about our assertion that "I think we will see this sp bounce around 0.60-0.75 till we get more significant RNS." - it is exactly what I have been saying for the last 9 months or more; no rise without "material" news.

So MP you state "I do expect a rise to the 1p mark once we have news of revised 3d results." On what assumption is that expectation based? A rise in estimated reserves of what exactly? And the converse, what happens if your assumption is not met?

But yes BG I agree with you and have said many times that the only news that we are likely to receive that will move the sp are those things that are likely to "change the dial". Whilst $1.85m is better than nothing and gives us some good breathing space it is a lot less than was originally envisaged and is certainly not about to "change the dial".

Successful remediation of KN1 and CH1 drill are about the only two that are likely to tick that box. What about an "increase in reserves post Seismics" I hear you cry - well the current (total)reserves are only viewed as being worth £27m so how much would even a 50% increase in Ntorya reserves be valued at? Another £13 -14m? Oh well it might get us the the 1p that everyone has been touting since Q1.

Anything that is price sensitive has to be announced the market before it can be "published" hence they cannot present "new data" at the Jefferies presentation until and unless "the market" has seen it first.

No not at all smudger. I am always happy to see any relevant news article or snippet of information - it is the often hyperbolic reaction to them that is more questionable.
