I hope you are right but I would honestly doubt that BG; the Jurassic "target" is a wide ranging one and would need greater breadth and coverage of data in my view.

Well it is true to say that AEX (or most importantly APT) might choose to reveal the results on a phased basis and they are most certainly going to complete the seismics relating to the positioning and logistics of the CH1 drill first; therefore we could conceivably see those in, what, February maybe? However it is not until they have completed the full seismic survey that they will have the information to reveal a new estimated resources figure for the whole basin and it is that, in my view, that will be needed to have a material and sustained impact on the sp and even then only if there is a significant increase in that estimated resources figure. Unless they choose to reveal the results on a phased basis I expect to be waiting until April for those. Will they release them on a phased basis? Maybe but then they never have previously. Then again it has always been AEX releasing seismic information previously and going forward it will be APT - will they adopt a different approach? I am sure that SCIR will want it released on a phased basis if the SCIR Board are true to their word regarding the negotiations on the sale of their 25%. I have my own view on that but only time will tell.

So PoC when can we expect that seismic interpretation? Before Christmas? ;0)

Yet again Tanzania you totally miss the point - at no time do comment on whether the initiation of the Seismics is good news or bad news (I believe it is good news) but more the fact that we have been told by many on this board that initiation of the seismic programme would (along with a few other things) act as a catalyst for an sp rise.... whereas I suggested otherwise.

And yet in manifestly hasn't - so Tanzania the fact that no-one agrees with it does not mean to say that it is wrong. And nor does the fact that 6 people agree with him in any way endorse your view that Charles Santos and the BoD are doing a fantastic job. It simply shows that 6 people are glad to see that things are moving. Fwiw I too am glad.

My posts are neither positive or negative Tanzania, nor indeed are they an expression of an opinion - they simply highlight the facts.

Yes BG though the longer we go without getting the answer the more likely it is to be the latter methinks? Indeed they are already likely to be "on the hook" for the cost of the seismics (if you believe the programme has already started?) and so are likely to sit it out and await the results; that is if they share the prevailing sense of optimism associated with those results? Moreover if they were unwilling or unable to fund their share of the seismics surely they are now at risk of forfeiting their 25%. Or maybe a forced sale to APT?

Though all speculation I would admit.

So what happened to the "wall of news" that had been predicted? And the sp jump that was supposed to accompany it? I thought we were all going to see a sharp revaluation once the Seismic Programme started? So it would be useful to understand if it has..... it seems the initiation of the programme was so important AEX decided to not even announce it!

110p Nelson, you should think yourself lucky I have them at 160p plus! Though thankfully far more at between 35 - 65 p.

I once had some at £9.00 but bailed out on the way down, thankfully - and, though my average is in the low 70's, 4D still owes me a good few quid. That said I have very confidence and like many am topping up on the dips as cash flow allows; my next purchase will be tomorrow when some sale proceeds become available.

But if you are along term holder as (if you believe them) ARA and the Zubairs as a group claim to be,why would you be interested in a short term capital gain? Surely long established income is far more valuable and appropriate? It better supports a long term East Africa investment and exploration programme...?

Anyway, whatever the outcome only time will tell.

How long have you been an AEX shareholder PoC? There is history here. ARA hold influence in the AEX BoD and with the selection any potential JV partner - do you really think that is just circumstance?! Lol! The JV selection will not even get to the TPDC before ARA/APT will have had the first word on it. You have got to think these things through properly.

Just to be clear, both the Operator (ARA) and the TPDC have to approve any new JV partner to the Ntorya license. That is not to say that a new JV partner cannot join but it means that ARA and TPDC will get the final say; it is therefore not a level playing field.

I would absolutely agree POC but ARAs controlling interest will likely deter any potential bidders as any shareholder vote that requires a 75% majority will put ARA in the Box Seat ...

APT won't let it happen in my view.

Well I have no proof of that either JCEP but is this is currently my own take on the situation and the reason that I too have adopted a similar "buy on the dips" strategy. I have held many shares who have been looking for material news towards the year's end and the later into December they leave it the more of a damp squib it becomes; it most as though everyone has turned off their antennae for the duration of the festive period. There is a serious risk that unless they can get the news out over the course of the next week or two it will pass largely without comment or serious notice..... I do not think I will get a way with it for too much longer and so am trying to accumulate as quickly as I can.

The counterpoint to that thought process is that very many Fund Managers look to make a lot of their portfolio changes at the end of a quarter and at the end of the year and there will be many shares changing hands over coming weeks; consequently it makes a lot of sense to get on the radars of the Fund Mangers ahead of those changes and a positive RNS would be seriously beneficial.
