I would hope that the recent rise is not based purely on expectations about the phase 1 seismic report because, in my view, even if we do get something released soon (and indeed that would not be surprising) I really don't expect it to reveal anything meaningful; it may confirm the positioning of the CH1 drill but for any GIIP revisions they will need to complete the whole programme of seismics. At best, confirmation of the drill position will be announced alongside more tangible and specific statements about completion of drill and other long lead contracts etc

No, MavD why am I not surprised? Actually I misquoted - the figure was actually 5.79m and was a delayed notification, from memory it took place at circa 12.50 on Friday but was reported late in the day. It has now "dropped off" the list, though I believe you can find it if you go the the London Stock Exchange site.

And I would be the first to agree that there have been more BUYS than SELLS you and I both know that the figures quoted on this site are totally inaccurate, as you yourself would be the first to point out when any reported SELLS are actually BUYS. Though of course it would not be in your interests to highlight that yet either would it - not today at least.

As has always been my position Tanz, simply to point out that, unlike the vast majority posts here of late, there are always two sides to every coin; a fact that some are all too quick to forget, or more commonly, conveniently ignore in the fulfillment of their self interested tactics.

A position, incidentally, that I have maintained for a very long time and one which has proven far more justified than that of the gushing, hyperbolic, optimism or the cynical manipulation of many here over recent times.

I absolutely agree ICB and that would have been the comment that I would have made. But of course that wouldn't have contributed to the "ramp" would it.... but at least it would nave been balanced.

Something to consider that never seems to get raised here is that Ntorya is NOT the only game in town. We hear from the likes of WEN and occasionally from ORCA because they are PLC's and have to reveal something of their intentions in accordance with the regulations of their public status. However there is also Dodsal - who also have a major discovery in Tanzania and, because they are a private company we never hear anything about and because of that are not restricted by public scrutiny and are a law unto themselves.... Who is to say that they do not have an "inside line" to early production?

To believe that the current Tanzanian energy problems dictate that the Tanzanian authorities are totally dependent on Ntorya is shortsighted - imo. Others may have deeperpockets , less governance (brown envelopes?), possibly a closer relationship with the powers that be and may be an alternative and, maybe, preferred "solution".

Those are the negatives of being associated with an LSE company and its Governance restrictions.

Even if you accept that they are from ARA (I am happy to do so), the fact that they are only hiring now gives an indication of the likely expectations on timelines; the Senior positions are likely to come with a minimum of 3 month notice period on their current jobs, unless they are contractors, in which case, even then they are looking at hiring in March at the earliest.

All good, positive indicators but yet again nothing to suggest imminent news, imo.

It is a bit wider than simply NASDAQ companies - it is structural; the US economy in general (bonds, housing and commodities) and with Global implications - and the Ukraine situation might simply act as one of several potential catalysts.

Not my view but simply highlighting the fact that several commentators have recently been predicting a substantial retracement in markets ; US and broader.

That is because it has changed its name to Guardian Global - I doubt you will ever see a price for NUOG again. But, when will we get GG shares delivered?

The original Corporate Action stated "New shares will be issued to entitled shareholders upon receipt of the stock from the company."

I guess that hasn't yet occurred?

Hi Andy, I am afraid that I cannot add much to what bullfrog and BG have outlined; I broadly agree with them both - there may well be an interim summary of the phase 1 seismics around the CH1 drill and potential location but I would be amazed if that will offer them any insights into GIIP revisions or anything else at this stage. Even if it did they would be reckless to make any announcements until the seismic programme had been completed and a full analysis done.

My view on when that might be? March at best and more likely April.

I would agree that any update would be better than nothing but I really don't expect that phase 1 seismic update to reveal anything significant; we will need to wait for the results of the full seismics programme for that.

Even then I am now adding shares as other stock sales and cash flow allow - it should not be too long now before we hear some material developments - indeed only 6 months or so until CH1 spud.
