If by "spud" the pair of you are referring to the CH1 "spud", then yes, in my view late Q3 or Q4 is realistic, anything sooner not. (see below)

I have been buying few over recent days and weeks in the hope that we will here pipeline news soon - though certainly not yet "all-in", as I would now be amazed if "production" in April is doable any longer and official confirmation of delay could yet sink the sp further..... latter part of Q2 now more realistic. Indeed much as I have contested since the June AGM - oh and similarly there being no drill contract and no rig in country until 2025. With M&P having obligations to drill two wells in the H1 2025 there is little chance of us having it on site before sometime in Q3 - hence the late Q3 or Q4 target date for a drill, methinks. And that assumes the rig arrives in country and can be set up and drilling pdq.

If I have one wish it would be that the CH1 drill (and, though highly unlikely, NT1 workover for that matter) pre-dates the November elections. A change of administration could kybosh pretty much everything and anything....

"Official" updates maybe in Aussie time McNol but operational information will be broadcast on the "jungle drums" locally and in real time methinks....

Bluebay, to your point about US capital markets I did ask GJ about Galactica and whether the BoD would seek to leverage the income or assets there to finance (part finance) Rukwa and he said that it would not be their preference; they would not want to encumber the Galatica assets for Rukwa purposes nor restrict their freedom of movement in US capital markets by doing so. So in summary they would prefer to ring fence the two and avoid any cross contamination. That said, the BoD was fully aware that US investors and debt funders were heavily involved in supporting other African mining and exploration areas, most significantly in South Africa and with the new exposure their US investment (Galactica) provided they would be actively pursuing all available options for Rukwa.

Well, I will be slowly accumulating in the intervening period as I need a much lower average than I currently have if I am to have a chance of getting my original investment back; so I sincerely hope you are right SOS.

FWIW, and I have said so, Rojo we need news of "boots on the ground" and quickly.... news of pipeline, NT2 and, or, production delay are likely to trigger a further sp fall but continued radio silence may be enough to achieve the same result. Better to get some news out that informs and manages expectations than simply leave shareholders hanging.....

Indeed McNol, those simply speculating on the delivery of the FS before the ML approval and, or, the ML approval before Christmas will be sorely disappointed and nursing some losses. Though, in reality, nothing significant and, if they can wait until the New Year, should be well rewarded.....

Oh just for information, I am reliably informed that Christmas holiday in India is only one day.... plus New Year's day of course.
