Again I follow your logic Blubay and for anyone else, an Investment Company, PE firm or JV partner I could well see that type of arrangement working but not, I think, for a bank (or Syndicate as GJ referred to) unless a Govt owned Bank/ Investment Agency that would be looking to invest in National infrastructure and development.

Mmm, I follow much of that logic except that any Bank Funding is likely to be secured against the Rukwa assets and, or, income and they would be owned by the entity that contracts to the License Agreement not the SPV, methinks. I do not expect banks to be involved in "loan for equity" arrangements...

Oh and Blubay also consider that He1 already wholly owns a couple of Tanzanian based companies that, in turn, nominally contract for the Exploration and eventually , I assume, the Mining Licenses and, hence, our assets in Tanzania. They could, potentially, use those as the SPV you speak of, if required (Tanzanian red tape and approvals notwithstanding). That would keep the Colorado assets separate....Maybe?

But yes Rojo despite still being in +ve territory and having taken some profit here and there over the years, Aminex has been a disappointment and failure. Particularly when considering the opportunity cost of having such sums tied up in this for so long..... Though I am expecting this to rise over coming months I doubt whether I will ever make up for that lost opportunity.

Thankfully Rojo the shares I follow here are all relatively recent acquisitions - relative to Aminex that is! And all doing reasonably well (Synergia excepted 😖) - better than those Biotechs and Fintechs that have long since disappeared into history.

Thankfully, these days my Biotech and Tech involvement is now mostly accessed through in Investment Trusts and similar. 😉

Yes Blubay that is close to my expectation and understanding. If you listen to the recording of the AGM in the Q&A session at the end GJ states that the $75 - 100m of dev funding will come from external sources but that there will need to be an element of equity funding for operational activity but that they would be looking to keep dilution to a minimum.

And yes I fully recognise that they would have to go to shareholders to approve any further share issue but that is always an option and GJ statements came in the full knowledge that would be necessary.

I too was I here at 2.0p FUBAR so down over 50% since then but I didn't buy ant at that price. I was also here at 0.195p too, up 400% since then and thankfully I bought loads .... just like most long term holders. 😁

Blubay I am not sure that I agree 100% with your assertion that all future Rukwa development funding will come from Debt Funding and JV participation. If you listen to the AGM recording I am pretty sure that GJ states that some will likely be financed from equity but that this will be minimised as far as possible. I do not think they will get funding or JV contribution to cover all drilling and associated costs.

To your 10:55 post Blubay, yes and those potentially "contingency factors" are why I would put this news in the "good" camp and not quite yet the "great" camp....

I wish I was in a position to Maverick, however already overcommitted on this at higher prices so will await news before buying more, as any extended wait will likely cause more sp erosion; hopefully won't have to wait until next month for it.

I certainly cannot see how it could be construed as bad news Blubay. Certainly should put any remaining suggestions from the naysayers about the "commerciality" or the "discovery" at Rukwa to bed. I suspect that the BoD must also have some inkling into a forthcoming date for ML approval and sources of funding methinks.

Indeed kievsky, we need news soon. The last "official" news we had on the Farm-Out was in October, nearly three months ago. The company need to provide shareholders with an update.

Besides which Rojo since when has your judgement inspired any confidence; the man who's portfolio is 98% large cap, blue chip entities but who spends all of his time and emotional energy posting about the one dismal failure in the portfolio - AEX. Hardly an expert in small caps yourself Rojo then eh?
