According to the FCA register of open short positions, it still stands at 0.52%.
As I have posted before ( and the board is happy to ignore), this is a tiny position for Jupiter and will make little to no difference to them if there is suddenly a big rise. It is just a small long/short fund and the position will be set to close out at certain levels anyway.
Also, this constant theory of 'news will blow the SP out of the water' is written dozens of times a day on nearly all of LSE AIM boards and the reality is nearly always not the case.
There are always exceptions usually in hyped shares in the early stages where sentiment is growing. Neither are really applicable here with regard to the LFT, any more imo. It will be big news on the cancer therapy that will be the next big catalyst here.
Some decent gains to be had on LFT sales from the current level, but not the large jumps as seen before.

It is the mcap you need to look at rather than the SP when trying to compare companies and their values due to the different numbers of shares in issue.

AFC (51.70 SP) has an mcap of 380m
Currently, EQT (1.09 SP) has an mcap of 92m
To be a similar sized company, EQT would need to rise to an SP of 4.5p. Not inconceivable with delivery on projects in time. Unlikely in 2021 now though imo (even though my eoy SP prediction was around 6.5p). Still a lot to happen this year though for that to change.

If the SP rose to the same as AFC with the current number of shares in issue, the mcap would be circa 4.3bn and I think most here would be jumping for joy. Can't see it myself, but this is AIM, so anything could happen!

There will not be any shorts here.
Volumes are too small. Not enough liquidity, and with the disclosure requirements (at 0.5%), if (IF) there were any undisclosed positions, they would be too small to make any difference anyway.

Endless talk of shorting on these boards is nearly always wide of the mark. Yes, there are always exceptions, but these boards always seem to take the exception and make it the rule. It is not.
And PI's will not be shorting this anyway, as I highly doubt any broker would even consider a PI taking a short position.
In over 3 years on these boards challenging posts about shorting, no one has ever been able to provide proof that a PI can take out a short on any AIM shares (spread bets are not the same thing).
Shorting is one of the biggest misconceptions/myths (and one of my biggest pet peeves) on these boards.
And no, an article from 2016 that everyone seems to post as 'proof' does nothing of the sort, especially when there have been regulation changes after then.
All imo, of course. I'm sure others will have their own particular view on this. Happy to see something to the contrary that changes my own view

I have had GKB filtered for many months now, but how can you say "I notice many are now buying" ?
Today's volume is just over 0.25% of shares in issue. Tiny. Just like volumes for all but one day out of the last 3 months.
There will be no significant buying (or selling) here without proper news, imo. Trading volumes seem to bear this out currently.

I can only see the 15 min delayed trades on LSE, volume seems normal (low).
Something funny with the LSE mid-price though. Bid 44, Ask 46.5 but Mid 47.20 (again delayed)

I invested via Hargreaves, and shares were showing the next day.
I actually opened the account especially to invest via Primary bid as my provider is not on their list, but then saw HL were also offering bonus shares for any applicants (5 shares for every 1k), so just used them directly instead.
The bonus shares were also showing the next day, albeit with an end of day delay due to allocations.

HL are offering a similar bonus with the HydrogenOne launch too, so may also give that a go.

Hear mixed stories about PrimaryBid and allocations/receipt of shares, so good luck, hope all sorted.
This will be a long 10-year hold for me, all being well

That's 2 banal, one-liner 'throwaway' comments you have made without giving any reason or insight at all.
I get negativity, there will always be some over some aspect that posters will disagree, but if you cannot provide even a short paragraph to outline what is so wrong here, in your opinion, then you are just a troll.

Update all looks good to me, should settle any market nerves, with plans progressing on several fronts and a pipeline of opportunities. No change to the fundamentals here, imo. Will continue to hold and be patient.

The proactive interview last week appeared to suggest we may see possibly 2 updates 'within the next week or two', and with several more expected over the remainder of this year too.

I have been saying for months that the major European Countries have their own tests, so getting sales into places like France and Germany will be difficult. It is all becoming a bit too political with the travel lists between the UK and Europe too (rather than being science based, imo), so that will also be a big factor when it comes to sales in Europe
There are definitely still opportunities though in the smaller European countries, perhaps more those in Eastern Europe.
Yes, there are sales opportunities on many fronts, smaller nations perhaps, but they will still need millions of tests, and for some time to come too.
I do agree that the feelings of many on here that Avacta will just simply sell to the rest of the world, and that the UK will be sorry for not buying any is a bit naive and a tad over-optimistic.
As we have seen, having the best test does not always equal winning the contract.

No one is talking about a police state.
We are discussing providing a one-time identity check for any social media site as a means to easily track (and hopefully cut) the online abuse.
People will think twice if they know they will be easily caught and prosecuted for doing so.
Everyone should have freedom of speech, but they should not have the freedom to abuse anonymously, and if caught simply claim they were hacked

It seems that the talk on virtually all boards today is about shorting, hedge funds, etc.
Lots of conspiracies, imo, and really not convinced, as I have posted on several other boards too.

Shorting seems to be the 'go to' response whenever an SP goes down, just like calling anyone negative on any share a shorter, when it is nigh on impossible for any PI to actually take out a short position.

Volume so far today is circa 0.33% of shares in issue.
Volume here is WAY too small for anyone thinking of seriously shorting this share to be comfortable, there is not nearly enough liquidity which is what they need.

Again, not convinced of these arguments which just seem to be convenient BB responses for me.
Just imo

Sad to see the SP down at this level, but will continue to hold as there has been no fundamental change for me to reconsider my holding.

It seems such a simple solution, verify who you are with a piece of official ID, and away you go.
Wouldn't that improve the content posted, and therefore, the useful information sharing rather than what we see for 90% of the time on here (it seems more).
Why do sites like this not want to do that though. Loss of revenue cannot be the only reason, surely? Data protection issues? Freedom of speech? All excuses to hid behind, imo.

The simple solution for solving the current horrific race issue on social media would be to have everyone verify their identity for every single account (and for every new account), and for ALL accounts that do not do so to be automatically disabled/closed/deleted.
This will, of course, never happen under the pretence of free speech, or that it is a tiny minority out of millions that abuse the sites..

Boris' plan to ban anyone from football matches who commits abuse is a joke. Already one of the people arrested over tweets has admitted he has never been to a game which just proves how ineffectual it will be. It's a pathetic response for Boris to tackle a serious issue. Paying lip service.
