It may be seen as poor, but it is not a significant release, imo.
For these types of announcements, twitter can be considered a wide-reaching enough public announcement for it not to be considered releasing sensitive information to a restricted audience.

.A few years ago, Woodford was rapped by the regulators for releasing fund updates and tips to a select group of subscribers on twitter.
The regulator deemed that if he had tweeted this information generally, just as a standard public tweet, it would have been ok, but the fact it was restricted to a specific (and paying) target audience, it was unfair and breached the rules for releasing potentially price-sensitive information.

Not on twitter, so can't comment on that side here, but sounds like it was a timing thing. Perhaps the tweet was released early in error, or the RNS was delayed for some unforeseen reason. The fact the tweet was deleted suggests they realise a mistake of some kind, and hopefully they will make a change to their internal controls as a result, but not worth getting worked up about in the context of the news in this instance. imo

3 IQ's outstanding to be answered before the week is out too, and hopefully, this RNS will allow them to provide a clear plan for the next 4-5 months at SFB (side-track schedule and main works).
We should get some news on Lidsey during August too (per the IQ 6-8 week timeline).

Let's see if these gains to over the 1p level can hold this time (several false dawns in previous months) .
Feeling more positive here than any time since the Jan funding debacle tipped me into the exasperated and untrusting camp.
Still expect it to be solid (and timely) progress and delivery to giver the SP any sustained boost

AFC announced in a 05/12/2019 RNS that they were the "Official EV Charging Partner of the British Motor Show 2020".

Presumably, like all the big events cancelled in 2020, this position still stands for the delayed show this year, assuming the focus remains unchanged (have not checked, tbh). Agree that an update from AFC to publicise would be of benefit

Oh, and as stated several times before, the position for Jupiter is TINY.
They will not be 'blown out' or any other such thing by any sudden change as some keep posting.
Their position can/will be closed at any time and this position will be a very small portion of a long/short fund which itself is a very small portion of their total AUM. Immaterial.

The SP here was 160 when the short was taken out, so a near 15% rise is needed from here for them to be our of the money.

Jupiter's short position is still showing on the FCA's daily record of reported short positions as of 22/07 close.
Same 0.52% position since 07/07
Not sure how accurate the other site is, or how the FCA's own record is monitored and kept up to date - presumably it is done from declarations, so perhaps a delay in reflecting any change?

EQT will receive 300k in cash, and the total shares in issue will increase by roughly 1.4% (dilution).

Nothing happens to the existing shares (other than the increase in the number of shares in issue). If you held 10k shares before, you still hold 10k shares, they will just represent 1.4% less as a total in comparable terms vs shares in issue.

The prospectus appears to indicate they will be looking at private and listed companies (12 private, 20 listed) for initial investment, and for those 20 listed companies "with a current preference towards fuel cell companies that also have growing electrolyser capacity, as well as fuel cell manufacturers themselves"
They estimate that 20% of the listed company allocation could be in companies with an mcap of <0.5bn.
So, out of 32 potential companies in the portfolio, there are 4 potential spaces to fill where AFC sits in the criteria (sector, country restrictions, etc will apply)..
The country bias will be skewed towards UK and Norway.

Also from the prospectus:
Listed stock selection by the Investment Adviser will be based on the following criteria:
- Minimum market capitalisation of US$200 million but with a preference for at least a US$1 billion market capitalisation.
- Preference for companies with current revenues and rapid revenue growth plans.
- Preference for manufacturers with systems integration capability.
- Companies with strong intellectual property and licensing/contracted manufacturing strategies.
- Growth potential and scalability with expansion plans.
- Prefer companies with industrial strategic investors

So, potential for an influx of buying here next week, if AFC is on the target list?

I would have thought it would go live as soon as the listing was showing.
Seeing as it has not officially been announced that it is to start trading, perhaps there are some additional SEC filings, or box ticking to be completed.
Feel that this will need an RNS release to confirm first day of trading.

That (ethereum) does seem to go against what he was saying there, but yes, they do appear keen to stay ahead of the curve and being selective and offering flexibility is better, so long as it fits within their regulatory remit.

I know it is easy just to look at the SP and comment about now vs 3p highs, or even the 2's and see it as a bad sign of the current situation, but the bigger picture is so much better here compared to even 9 months ago (begore my time here).
Just look at the RNS' released in that time. Plenty of progress and much expected before the year is out.
Always good to have a reminder of why we are invested, and although many, like myself may be down currently (40%, personally), EQT are in a decent position (imo).
The recent fug of doom/uncertainty hanging over this board seems to be lifting, and the board appears more positive in the past few days, with good sentiment and a more positive focus on the fundamentals (and a few blue days) since the Q2 trading update was released.
Yes, the SP is not where we would like, but happy to hold for further news, of which there is much to come

Not really expecting much to happen here until September when THG are due to start gong live (hopefully with others).
Expecting low volumes and SP to bounce around the 45p level unless some big news drops.

Last week we were supposed to have finally cleared the 1p barrier leaving the 0.'s behind once and for all.
Maybe we get more than a couple of days in a row over 1p and signs that there is some SP momentum before the constant talk of 2p.
Why so many think this should easily be 2p now, I really don't know. It's not really that difficult to see why and what needs to change for any decent movement.
Q4 for me before we see any significant move, and only on delivery. Possibility for some smaller jumps in the meantime.
Aren't we supposed to see a comprehensive plan and timescale for SF than was due by the end of July (or sooner)?
And news on Lidsey should also be due around the end of August.
It's all about action now, not talk and what may be (I have been saying this for 6 months or more now, it seems).

Most likely small individual fills are part of a larger order being worked (maybe an algo trade?), as each 'fill' is classed as an executed trade and is reportable to the market.
The total 'fill' for the day is then likely cancelled and rebooked as the total amount for commission, etc.
Most likely scenario for me given many multiples of these trade sizes.

One thing it is not, is teenagers and wannabees, or small trades to try and prevent 'shorts'. Where do people come up with this carp?

There's also a difference between institutions being registered as shareholders, and institutions actually being the investor.
The '3 biggest' shareholders noted, will surely all just be the custodian for their underlying clients' money, no?

Too many unknowns, and the need for potential to turn into successful delivery.
We've just had a good Q2 trading update, so let's see how this compares to progress seen by the time the interims are out (end Sept?)
Personally, I don't have a target at this stage, but can certainly see long term growth and good profitability here, but perhaps not the big SP moves back to earlier highs in the short term.

For those who like to moan endlessly about the SP move here vs PHE and CWR whenever there is a drop, despite all the variable factors at play, and the obvious futility of doing so:.
