I believe that the regulator must be notified by 3:30pm on the day after the position change, so pretty quick.
I guess the FCA's daily list is effectively 1 day delayed on this basis.

Yes, you would expect a good chairman to know everything, but that was not what was being discussed.

It was being assumed that because 1 director is 'in the know', then all must be in the know. Which is not true.

It does not matter if other directors know something, it is what the director (or employee) looking to deal knows that is key.

If they are asked 'are you aware of anything price sensitive', which they will be as part of director/employee dealing requirements (which apply to any employee considered an 'insider') and their answer is 'No', then there is no issue whatsoever with them doing their trade if the other director(s) are happy to authorise the trade.

If the other Directors are aware of any price sensitive news, it is irrelevant with regard to the director (or employee) that is not 'in the know', unless the directors themselves deem it not appropriate to authorise the trade (the reason for which which they are not obliged to disclose, if they are in possession of news).

One director being 'in the know' does not make all directors in the know.
Common sense has nothing to do with it.
There are strict rules under MAR which directors, and all employees of any listed company are subject to and which records and procedures will be put into place for.

People sell (and buy, or hold) for all sorts of reasons. Far too many to mention, and even a sell does not necessarily mean that their view has changed.
Not all investors are the same. They don't think the same, act the same, have the same investment horizon, size of holding, etc, etc.
So, to pick out one trade from hundreds and do the usual 'why is anyone selling at this SP' is a pretty meaningless argument when there is no way of knowing the reasons behind it.

Volume here has been incredibly low for almost 3 months now (21/5 the last decent day), so to pick out just one trade and hold this up as a signal for doom and dissatisfaction with the bod, and all things AFC is a bit disingenuous, if you ask me.

And to think that every trade is somehow influenced by, or the result of any poster on these boards is about as far-fetched as you can get.

I get it, everyone is anxious for news which leads to conspiracy theories, clutching at straws, anything to cling to for some whether that be positive, or negative.

As I have posted on some other boards, time to switch off here until news as we seem to be stuck in groundhog day here.
End of Q4 will be when I look to judge the success, or otherwise of AFC this year, and there is nothing to suggest so far that anything is amiss

Now at least 14 months delayed form earliest practical timeframe, and considerably more expensive than outlined at the beginning.
As mentioned several times now, the SP is going nowhere until such time as the bod deliver on SF, so those who keep harping on about a re-rate should revise their opinions (imo) and maybe change the record?
There is simply ZERO trust in the market for Angus.

And the clamour for Director buys will also do ZERO for the SP, so constantly calling for them, and for 'someone' to chase them up on this is also pointless. It will not be much of a signal to anyone even if they do happen.

I am really not sure how copy and pasting selected paragraphs from the RNS really help anyone, especially trying to make them out to be positives when the overall news is overwhelmingly disappointing. Everyone can read it and see that this is not good news, as shown by the immediate SP reversal.

Seems my end of year deadline to exit here needs a review. Again.

Funds and trusts are obliged to produce a NAV on a regular basis, whether that be daily, monthly, quarterly, etc.
This fund is publishing the NAV daily, per the prospectus (p.59)

At just 0.1% of shares in issue, this (36k) is a tiny trade, alongside the continuing very small daily volumes seen for months.
If anyone 'knows something', there would surely be much higher volumes and multiple large trades like this, plus plenty of social media chat, so very unlikely anything is 'out there' imo.

It will be the amount of oil that determines the number of trucks, rather than the truck size, but generally, I believe circa 220 per tanker (going by historic ukog tanker chat).
I would expect an absolute minimum of 2 per day, with 3 on alternate days given the target expected. Anything less than this will be a disappointment, and I feel the market would react accordingly too.

Not seen anything so far.
As others have pointed out, their website is pretty basic just now (it seems more geared up to pre-launch), and there does not appear to be anything anywhere else (HL,Mornigstar, Trustnet etc) to outline holdings as yet.

Not too concerned as another fund that launched a week or so earlier has no holdings showing either just yet, although they did give out more info pre-launch on target companies via a good webinar (there was an element of in-specie transfer for this particular fund launch though, so some more transparency)

It is possible that they are still building their portfolio and my guess is that we may not see anything until the fund is fully invested and at target weights

I'm all for challenging the naysayers and disproving their (often) deliberately misleading and negative comments, but to suggest this will be "multiples of the share price just now" on the signing of a contract is wildly optimistic, imo, and potentially just as misleading for anyone looking in.
Let's try to keep some perspective and realism on comments, especially when trying to negate false information.

I have TP on filter, btw. Much more preferable to filter or ignore than seeing continuous responses which just encourage more posting, as is their intention, but each to their own.

We are well into the business end of H2 now, so hopeful of some good news to land over the coming months.
Still a chance of some good moves here, but suspect the majority will be well out on their (just for fun) end of year SP predictions here, myself included

It happens all the time.
So many reasons why buy vs sell numbers are not what drives SP movements, its too simplistic to look at it like that.
35% of today's trading volume was from one single trade reported after market close too, and with less than 0.25% of shares in issue traded today, any real movement was unlikely and small daily moves in any direction expected (imo).

We will see these lulls inbetween news days. I'm expecting to see lots of days like this, up for a few days, level for a few, down for a few, a mix of all the above, but largely staying within a range until something lands to give this a push to a new level.

The bonus shares is something HL were offering for applications via them, I don't believe it was universal across other platforms.
This is only the 2nd IT IPO that I have participated in, both in the last month, and both times HL were offering bonus shares. Maybe it is a regular thing for them as an incentive to entice/keep investors to their platform?
It certainly worked for me, as I ended up opening an account with them purely to participate in these IPO's.

Agree that they may not be fully invested yet, it can take time to do do at launch, especially as some companies will be unlisted.
Not sure if they would RNS when fully invested, will see in due course
With a large chunk of investment in private companies and likely to only be valued quarterly (?), perhaps any more meaningful moves will only take place on these valuation dates?
Long term hold anyway for me, so will only check here periodically outside of any RNS.

Good to see this update, as promised in the IQ's.

If I am totally honest, I was expecting to see a full timetable for activity at SF from now to 1st gas in December.
Whilst they still appear to be on target for December (with or without new side track), I would have liked to see a more detailed step by step timeline announcement here in order that action could be tracked vs estimated timescales.

I suppose their intention to release more regular updates on progress over the remainder of H2 will have to do.

Not expecting any big move off the back of this, but continued progress nonetheless

It is pointless trying to make predictions of where the SP might go, imo.
Everyone (those invested, anyway), will have their own investment strategy, targets for buying/selling, etc and will have very different outlooks for short, medium, long term depending on activity/success (or not - still a real possibility).

All SP predictions do (imo) is give fuel to the 2 competing sides and increase the flow of tit-for-tat posting.

The board just need to get on and deliver. We are way past further excuses and additional delays now (especially on SFB).
They need to provide the detailed plan that was promised in July, and be seen to stick to it for the SP to do anything significant, and anything additionally positive on Lidsey, etc before the end of this year will be a bonus.

As for the past 2 years, I am here only for SFB, nothing else, so I am more interested in firm timeframes, and for them to stick to them. We are already 8 months on from my expected 'first gas' date, going by previous company predictions, so delivery in Q4 is paramount.
Unless first gas is imminent (e.g. early Jan), I will be exiting here by the end of 2021 regardless of any other activity going on, and whatever the SP could achieve.
3 years of being patient for some success here, is plenty, in my book

I noticed similar on the SSIT launch recently (my first time using HL). Purchase shares showing on first trading day, but not the bonus shares.
I sent them an email intra-day to query and the bonus shares were showing before the end of that day and they explained they had to manage the allocation of these separately, presumably due to possible scale-back on original applications to achieve the correct number of bonus shares compared to expected.

I will follow up if not showing on Monday, but expect it is just a timing thing, perhaps it just needs an overnight feed on their system to reflect them.

Not sure if I am reading this thread right.
It is perfectly possible to release an announcement in 2 different time zones at the same time, an RNS can be set to be released to the market at any time.
The difficulty, as suggested, is that one market may be open, and the other closed, but the duty is to release any news as soon as practically possible.
Bank holidays in one market, or one being open and the other closed should not affect the release of price sensitive news.
All our recent price sensitive news (bar a couple of warrant exercises) have been released at 7am, no issue there with Canada market with all of those, so why should this be any different?
They would not announce any funding at an investor update either as this is not the correct forum to do so. It would need to be released to the market ahead of this - most likely in the same RNS as the AGN result, or a separate release.

There would not be a suspension (imo). There are hundreds of companies with dual listings in different jurisdictions/time zones, and suspensions are not a common thing, especially when it comes to something pretty straightforward as funding requirements.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that anyone should be patient here for another decade.
If posters cannot see the progress made here in the last year alone, the new/renewed focus on this sector since the back end of last year, and the opportunities that this presents, then there really is no hope, imo.

Holding, patient and happy to wait for news.
As myself, and others have been saying for months, come back at the end of year. If nothing of substance by then, then your concerns will be more justified
