They would have to RNS a new broker, so would have to say no on this.
4 weeks next week since the listing submission, and approval could be around 4-8 weeks, so could be any time soon for confirmation

Should not have been greedy and taken the prevailing Ask, rather than trying to get close to the mid.

Well in profit on my main position, despite my providers' c*ck up on the IPO, so can't really complain.
I still see an opportunity at a lower level at some point, although happy with my position whatever happens.

Only 2 race weekends down, but we have heard zero about any issues as far as I am aware, so hard to see how the contract would not be extended for additional seasons, imo
More likely an expansion of the partnership, if anything to provide a legacy. Hasn't there been talk of leaving chargers in the different locations for this reason?
Who or what is there as an alternative anyway?
Haven't been following too much, so the cancel of Brazil and Arentina will be a blow, more for the series than for AFC, but hopefully they will come up with some alternatives.
Maybe they can the showcase wilderness conditions and remoteness of the Orkneys/Shetlands, or highlight the plight of the impoverished landowners on Sandbanks :-)

I believe that Spain entry rules may have changed, and a test is no longer required for entry, not even a proof of vaccination if travelling from areas on their list (Eurpoe, UK, USA, etc).
Even Countries not on their approved list can enter with proof of vaccination.
The above is different to what I had read yesterday which suggested a PCR test was required, so maybe someone can confirm?

Great news release anyway, feel perhaps the smaller EU COuntries may be targetted as France, for certain, have their own tests in use

Certainly seeing a lot of adverts for different types of cards, payment apps, etc in recent weeks,
Unsurprising with the Euros being a good advertising opportunity.
Although plenty of space for competitors, and many offering different functions, rewards, etc, it does seem that it is becoming a bit crowded with 'new' launches, competitors and choice, depending on what you are looking for.
These next 4 weeks will be a good time to get the MODE name out there more, hopefully the bod have something up their sleeves to boost the profile and attract consumers and merchants.
The proposed expansion into Europe would be timely too.

I can only see around 10% of posts today, so can only imagine re: the posting!
Was never expecting a huge rise like many today, due to the loss of trsut here, so not surprised at the SP action.
The rise has only taken this back to the average of the last 3 months.
Disappointing, but it is a start though, maybe the start of a gradual rise like we saw in Jan until the disastrous placing which decimated the SP. Again.
Very low volume for me, considereing the news though.

The direction of a trade is never reported at the point of execution, it is all a best efforts representation based on the bid/ask and the algos these sites use to 'present' the direction are meant as a guide only.

Yes, good news on the SF plan.
Have we seen a recent timetable, the website still refers to an out of date (24/02) presentation, and Q3 first gas. We already know that this has become Q4, which, in turn has become December.
Need to see something more specific following recent updates, perhaps at the end pf the tender period.

Not sure what to make of the invoice notice. If not a material net claim on this significant invoice, why RNS it?

Hopefully, the first bit of news will give the SP a lift tomorrow, but a new timeline, and Angus being seen to stick to it is what I want to see next from them

All questions submitted before the 20th of each month will be answered by the 30th of the same month. Any questions submitted after the 20th will be answered by the 30th of the following month"

All o/s questions submitted on 24th May, so they are NOT late by their own submission requirements and do not need to answer them until 30 June (although admittedly in the past they may have answered later submitted Q's during that month).

How exactly can you assure everyone here that there will be NO placing this year?
Not all placings are bad, you know.
If they place due to little/no cash in the coffers, then yes, not good news.
But if they place for a rapid expansion, or a great opportunity, then yes, it would be a good thing, and the market is capable of understanding the difference.

Not agreeing with archie at all on the pump and dump (despite the evidence this has happened twice in advance of the last 2 placings), but no one knows what may or may not be needed over the next 6 months, and beyond, so I would not discount a raise at any time.
I would much prefer expansion and growth from cashflow which opens doors to other financing, but this is AIM. To say categorically that there will be no placing is foolish, imo, given how this is the primary source of funding available in this market.

For now though, would prefer to concentrate on the work in hand, and see the current activity progress to a successful result and taking the SP North and over the 40p level

You can't just take the SP at one point in time (e.g. 13.35p in June 2018) and compare it to today's SP though, without taking new share issuances into consideration too. Same with the March 2020 comparison.
It's too simplistic, and doesn't tell the true story - you need to compare MCAP at each point in time to make a true comparison.

For example, 372m new shares were added to the regisrer in October 2020, and more than 1bn shares in April 2019, and there have been at least 3 smaller issuances too of around 50m shares within that time frame.
So, the shares in issue has increased by close to 1.4bn (circa 60%) in the above time frame, and the SP is down less than 30% in the equivalent timeframe.
Someone else can do the maths properly to comapre a true like for like MCAP, but it looks like the MCAP is at least 10% higher now than in June 2018.
Not saying it's great, especially as the SP is down a fair amount compared to just 2 months ago, but at least it's a more accurate (and truer) comparison.

Closed periods only ever occur twice a year.
30 days prior to the annual results
30 days prior to the half year results
No other time.
Directors can literally buy shares any day, any time, even in the closed period if they so wish. The only difference is that they need to show a valid reason to do so in this time, and need the bod to sign off on it due to them being aware of price sensitive news.
Even outside of a closed period, if there is price sensitive news, they can buy or sell as it will be recorded on the company register, and by RNS and they will need to disclose whether they are aware of anything price sensitive. If so, again the bod would and can approve.

A company is never going to be in a pemanent closed period like many have been stating for well over 3 years on this board.
There are no excuses whatsoever why SS has not personally put his hand in his pocket.

Until the new shares are added to the register, then there is no change.
Once they are added, there are still the permitted timeframes to notify.
If we hear nothing from Amanti, I would assume they took a pro-rata allocation to maintain their holding.
I presume that the Altair figure in the RNS is sufficient notification as it has been made public, but we will have to see.
Even if the new shares are added overnight, we may not hear anything until next week, as you say, depending on how quick on the ball each party is - they will possibly need an overnight system feed to get their correct position at their custodian, who would most likely be making any notification.

My understanding is that the rules changed a while ago (5 years at least) with regard to uncompleted 'open' orders and reporting them,
The trade is reported daily on each daily completed 'fill' for any outstanding large trade.
The remainder is then continued daily until completion, or cancellation, with each daily 'fill' also being reported.
The reporting is not held back until the trrade is complete. although each individual daily 'fill' can be delayed under certain circumstances - hence the often seen end of day reported trades, or next day trades.
Traders are not permitted to have 'open' orders outstanding at the end of each day. The order is closed and reopend the next trading day on any remaining balance.
You should still be able to reasonably tell from each daily 'fill' the direction of any large trade, despite what is reported on these platforms.
The rules may not have changed when it comes to TR1 notifications, but my understanding also, is that these are made based on the daily register at the end of each trading day too, so even if an order is incomplete and a threshold is crossed, that is the point at which the change has occcured and when the report needs to be submitted (subject to permitted timelines).
For me, I am only bothered about TR1 notifications, anything else is not that important in the grand scheme of things

From old company workplace situations, new IT releases were always rolled out over the weekend, in case it needed to be put back to the old version in case of unforeseen blips when 'live', despite all prior testing.

A different scenario, but would this be likely for a new launch, with a fanfare on a particular day, say on Friday for a busy weekend of activity, or midweek for a softer launch?
I presume they are doing some live testing with a single retailer, or two in parallel with their in-house testing as a comparison for real World situations.

Don't forget those that use credit cards for the peace of mind with the payment protection for any larger purchases, big electrical items, or holidays, for example.
This was especially important for me with multiple cancelled holidays last year, when the companies were 'stalling' on their obligations under the EU directive for refunds/cancellations, providing some leverage to get them to act.
I always have mine set up to clear the balance each month and use generally just for the likes of petrol and any 'impulse' buys outside of any big ticket buys.

Can see their (cc's) stranglehold declining, with alternative payment methods increasingly available unless they adapt and innovate, but they will still have their place for a while yet (although perhaps just to the older generation, like me!!).

Not impatient for news, but it would be good to see a couple of blockbuster announcements, and within their own Q2 deadline
