Tomorrow will mark 1 year since the 48m fund raise.
You would have to say that progress has been disappointing in the time since then, given estimates and when all the development with partners, collaborations was ramping up for a 'summer' release of a test.
Closer now than ever of course, news next week perhaps to coincide with the anniversary of the resulting investors presentation?

Could it depend on how much you were looking to get in the offer, as to whether you were scaled back?
It may be, that up to a certain amount, full allocations were given, and then anything over was scaled back, to ensure as many people as possible received an allocation.
Haven't looked to see if any have posted what they applied for, but not an uncommon approach when offers are oversubscribed, for fairness

If you email via the company website and outline what you would like to discuss, DB will most likely offer to call you to discuss anything non-sensitive.

If it's a result of the placing, we will not hear from any TR1's until the new shares are listed, so around 3rd June (or a couple of days after, given permitted notifiction timeleines).

Unfortunately, this is very common, and not something that can be changed.
No one is deliberately reporting trades the wrong way (although some say the MM's manipukate the bid/ask to distort the direction - I don't see how this can be, tbh)

The direction of any trade is NEVER reported to the market at the time of execution. Only certain fields need to be reported, and sites like this use algo's to determine the direction going by the bid/ask at the time of execution.
It is meant as an indicator, not a reliable tool.
The big players will have access to the brokers/dealers who can see the live order books and accurately gauge what is going on, so the likes of us PI's without level 2 data, can only guess activity by this delayed reporting.

For me, it is always about volume, and any large trades, rather than individual trades. It has to be said that the volume today is pretty low, a bit like ysterday.
News will help to pick this up, so hopefully we will get something positive soon

Unfortunately, until significant cashflow is being generated, placings like this are the norm for AIM companies to grow.
I see this as part and parcel of investing in AIM, and from the news provided, this is exactly the reason I would expect a raise to be for.

We should be thankful it is not fund raising through a debt financing facility with someone like Riverfort tbh.

Timing of these raises is important, and this is a good move, imo, at the right time.
Yes it is dilution, but circa 7% is not massive, nor is the discount being offered. I would not have been too surprised for this to have been for a whole lot more, tbh, and the amount suggests to me that they are confident/close to delivering on a few fronts.

As others have said, everyone will have their different view on this.
Everyone can also make their own investment decisions given this update.
I will continue to hold. My broker is not on the Primary bid list in any case, so cannot participate in the raise, but my holding is at the max I am comfortable with here in any case at this time.

I will be interested to see if they announce how many times oversubscribed this offer may have been when this offer closes.

Agree, I can't see them applying for the listing without the necessary criteria being in place first.
I see plenty of instances with companies where the admin side is 'loose' in other sectors when it comes to applications, permits, etc, but you would expect them to be on the ball here when it comes to knowing the regulation, etc.

I will still take the 4-8 weeks as a guide for when this listing will hopefully be confirmed, so all should be up and ready by mid-June to tie in with the Q2 launch timetable.
A big 5 weeks or so ahead for the team here and it would be good to see the SP back in the 50's again in that time. At the very minimum!

A few legal sites state the standard timeframe is usually 4-8 weeks.
Seems lots of filing requirements and different financial reporting standards needed, so perhaps extra Admin to comply?

I note that the MODE website states that there is not currently an established Audit Committee (they say this will happen at the appropriate time but that the board will do this in the interim), but the listing requirements state there must be 2 independent directors, and also an audit committee with a majority of independent members.
Perhaps there needs to be some independent additions to the board to complete their corporate goverment requirements for the listing? I am not sure I have seen any NED anouncements.

Those will be custodian account holdings under those particular fund houses, many of which will be for PI accounts.
They will not be direct holding investments, especially for 50% of the current shares in issue.
You need to look at the TR1 holders for the 'big boy' positions, and as far as I can recall, Schroders are the only TR1 holder from that list, and they are known to have been reducing their holding.

I would say the 85k trade was a buy too.
I bought some more this am at 43.425 when the bid/ask was the same (43/45). A lot of similar trades reported as sells, but these were all buys, imo
It seemed easy to buy below the mid-price for smaller amounts at the time I was getting quotes and I was happy to pay mid.
Not a stretch to think a large trade at mid would be a buy (imo)

The price drop may make it more attractive to potential II's, but it could equally prevent them from buying if they have minimum mcap requirements, or minimum value for any holding.
Current volumes could mean it taking several days/weeks to build a decent-sized target position too, so not ideal

I'm sure much will be quickly forgotten, or refuted with the usual 'yes, but...' arguments.
Shorters also need liquidity, and this has only exceeded a daily volume of over 2% of shares in issue once in the past 3 months, hence why there will not be much appetite for it here currently, imo.

Hoping for a tick up here as we approach race weekend 2, with perhaps some more good PR at the event, and maybe even some even more positive news.
Not seen much on the build up to this yet. Have not been following too much tbf, but the broadcasters don't seem to be promoting it to any real extent, perhaps there will be more as the week progresses.
Did they release any audience figures after race weekend 1?

I don't feel the "... coming very soon" should be interpreted as being any different to the Q2 launch announcement in the 15th Feb RNS.
If there is a delay of any kind, they would need to let the market know, but I would still consider any time in June as being on track for a successful launch.
Early June better all round, obviously, but unless we hear anything to the contrary happy with news flow to date.

I get that it may make sense now rather than later, but I would much prefer them to action what they have.
If they are then producing what they expect from the existing 2 wells, then I would have no problem with the extra cost for the new work, or the time at that point
Who's to say that this drilling will not delay first gas by weeks, or longer?

Regarding the bod buying shares, I am not remotely interested in this.
It seems to be something that yourself and others have brought up as a means of trying to bump the SP in the short term given that the funding news hasn't done that.
Not sure why the bod should be expected to do this, or why some here think it necessary, and I don't get the cajoling of others to post an IQ on the subject. If they do not put up 1 question on the matter (or two as it seems), why bombard them with multiple requests on the same thing?
It doesn't achieve anything other than suggest investors are being petty, and only have their own short term interests in mind, and that's not the type of investor that the company will be be too concerned about taking seriously.

The lack of IQ's should not be seen as a bad thing. It is not compulsory to have several IQ's to answer every month, and we have received the majority of updates in the last RNS and in recent updates.
