I took that from your posting Staggers (working in IM), which was why I checked out your other shares out of curiosity.

I worked in Finance for almost 30 years, the last 17 years for 3 big Asset Manager. I 'retired' a few years ago in my late-40's due to the boredom induced by the MiFID II rollout.

I too wanted something in the Bitcoin space and was too late to the ARB party, hesitating when it had dropped from 115 into the 70's, and I just saw it as too risky for me in the end given my other holdings and available cash at the time.
MODE seems a much better fit for my risk appetite. Average is at 54p after my addition today and with a long term view, so unconcerned with the daily moves in the short term (unless an opportunity to add further).

I think it was a level-headed post you made over on AFC that gave me cause to check where else you were invested that brought me here, so thanks.

All the main players particpating in this will have been made 'insiders' prior to the RNS in order to be provided with the details subsequently released in order that they could make their indications for allocation, so was likely just a formality of 'opening the books' for the firm orders to be received, and any scale-back made due to the over-subscription.
Initial indications would most likely have been needed last night, prior to the RNS today, so they would have been aware of the interest for the take-up of the majority of the shares in advance of the subsequent announcement.

It's a pretty standard process, tbh, and happens all of the time.

The main thing for me is the relatively small discount, the over-subscribed event (it's a shame they have not disclosed how many times over0subscribed it was), and 2 known collaborators taking a siezeable interest.

It all bodes well for 2021 to continue to be 'transformational' for AFC (an AIM CEO's favourite word).

Still, good to see an increased position being taken, and explains why a 'new' 4% position has not moved the SP higher than it is currently

Disappointing to see the drop yesterday and so far today after it was looking so positive for a move up earlier in the week.
Still, I failed with a 53p limit buy on Tuesday when the SP was rising, but just bought double my intended purchase then at 49p today.

Agree with Jollifant.
AIM companies are often 'ambiguous' in the way they present figures, which can be interpreted differently and mean very different things depending on that interpretation. Some clarity (transparency) and consistency would be better received by investors, and the market to perceive the true growth, but I expect this approach will change in time.

I think that point is key, Garonne.

Seems to have been many false dawns in the past, and often seen as a fad, but there is a definite will to look at, and invest in alternatives, make some real change, and not just from governments, but investors, too.
Just look at the growth and number of 'green' funds that have been set up in the past year or so and the very noticeable shift in focus for many of the larger traditional oilers (BP, Shell, etc).

Still a long term hold for me.

Other than the £4.75m of new shares to Dutco and ABB, and the named Directors, the balance of new shares has gone to the II's that participated in the placing.
Faceless/nameless investors at present, so no point trying to second guess, but likely a combination of existing Shareholders, and new ones attracted by the opportunity presented by the offer through the brokers.

We may see some TR1's once the shares are added to the register.
Personally, I do not expect these to be sold for a quick profit as many seem to think happens on every placing, but everyone will have their opinion (especially if the SP is seen to be 'held back', it ill be commented that it is due to placing shares being sold).

Great news, and plenty to get excited about and discuss. For the majority, anyway.

I was considering submitting an IQ along a similar vein on the SF funding, timeframe, etc, but how to phrase tactfully enough for them to consider publishing it?
The last related question was basically brushed aside with the respoinse 'we believe are in the final furlong' - that was asked precisely 1 month ago. - so would not expect anything different now, they would just refer to their 29 March RNS again.

Seriously considering selling around half my holding on any spike from funding news now, as even if news lands this month, I feel we are now well into Q4 for 'first gas', almost 1 year longer than I was realistically prepared to wait for based on original timeframes (my deadlne to exit was EOY 2020).
Their most recent presentation (Feb '21) states 'Pause for funding' with a time frame of end Oct/ beginning Nov to early March, with first gas at the end of August/early Sep, so even going by that, we have slipped by over a month already less than 2 months after they updated us all, and you can guaranteee further delays will occur.

Sadly, the realism for some decent posters here is becoming more aligned with the 'I told you so' brigade the longer the funding question drags on.
I will be making a decision as to my holding in any case if no news arrives before May Day, so 2 weeks.
Still hopeful of the successful completion of funding, but this really is ridiculous now

I'm sorry Skyfarmer, but we will have to disagree on this.
These circa £10k value trades are really not large, or significant sized trades, not even close imo, as others have posted many times before
There will be plenty of PI's with holdings greater than this (not me, I hasten to add).

As for the other trades, yes, for a PI, a £30k, or £50k trade could be considered chunky, but at close to 0.6% of the mcap, it is not something I will be getting too excitd about, especially as they are few and far between.

The daily SP moves are still keeping this mostly within the same range it has been in pretty much since we lost all the momentum with the horrendous placing RNS back at the end of Jan when everyone was expecting funding to be confirmed.
As it has been for months, it is about funding. Nothing else.
We must be due an update on this soon. In the meantime, nothing else that may or may not be happening here is of interest to me, tbh.

I've always wondered why there are so many trading ocations in Germany.
I remember it was a bit of a nightmare when looking at the different exchanges and whether they were considered 'eligible markets' for Transaction Reporting requirements (MiFID II), as not all were, from memory.

Is there a reason, a historical legacy from pre-electronic era?
Do the exchanges act as a broker/exchange type function rather than having MM's?

Happy to let the bod get on with things, and as already said by others, they are making plenty of good progress, have made some excellent and very experienced recent hires, and continue to communicate regularly with shareholders via RNS and interviews.

Nice move so far today, for sure.
Volume looking to be the highest for almost 4 weeks too, hopefully some momentum to keep the SP on an upward trend now.

I put in a cheeky limit buy this am at below the mid-price at the time (53.00), but won't be too upset if the SP stays at this level, or above now, as was already at my target weight, and now in profit.
Next news hopefully not too far away.

I thought that 150,000 shares did ring a bell, but clearly did not look back far enough to see that detail.

From the April 2015 RNS:
"The Options are exercisable at a price of 41 pence per Ordinary Share being the closing mid-price on 13 April 2015. The Options shall vest on the 3rd anniversary of the date of grant of the Options, will be exercisable between the 3rd and 10th anniversary of the date of grant but are otherwise unconditional".

Presumably, this means that they can only be exercised annually on the 13th April between 2018 and 2025, so this wil be the first anniversary they have been 'in the money'.
Not an expert on options and how they are handled, but seems to make sense

Any company needs to inform the market if their total shares in issue changes during the previous month as this is the official figure that holders need to use when calculating their position for TR1's, etc.
I thought there was a timeline to do this (i.e. asap after month end), and this is something that they did this on the 9th Feb too.

This change represents 150,000 more shares in issue from the announcement back in Feb.
The RNS does not mention what this is in relation to, and I can't see anything else released to see what this change is, but it could be an adjustment of some kind, an award of shares to an employee, or staff scheme, or something to do with a contract payment.
Someone else may be able to provide a bit more on what this change could relate to
