To be fair, he has done this several times, both via RNS, and via presentations, IQ's.
The updates on financing have been regular, it's just that the tinmeline keeps moving and the fact it is dragging on and is still not resolved is the issue many are unhappy about.

I'm with Yanis on his views here.
The (latest) Easter deadline is now key to close this. A big 2 weeks for Angus to salvage much of the goodwill that has been lost over the past 8 weeks or so

There was a programme on tv a few days ago about a massive landfill site in California.
They were taking in circa $250k every day from hundreds of lorry loads of waste trucks.
The scale of the place was huge, the infrastructure, processing, etc,.
It was like an old quarry and the buried waste was something like 150ft deep (it would eventually be around 450ft deep once full), layered with soil.
They even had their own on-site power station with the emitted gases being piped off and used to power the site and the local commmunity.
And this was just one loaction in the state.
Mind-boggling how much waste was arriving there every day to be buried

As Threephase has said, the Angus project includes a short pipeline extension from an old gas field (only a circa 750m to 1km redirection) to reconnect to the National Grid network.
They have installed a new 4-inch pipe in order to be 'hydrogen ready' (see link).
It is prep for future possibilities, the current aim for Angus is gas, so more a future-proofing, given their proximity to the Humber. Likely 10 year plus timeline for any hydrogen activity, given estimated gas reserves.

As ReoninV posted, NG would have to undertake a massive project to bring their existing infrastructure up to the required standards for hydrogen (you can bet they would wany Government grants to do this too).

Have taken a small position myself today (thanks to a poster on another board for the namecheck).
Some more reading to do, so an opening position, but plenty of recent interviews and news, a good sign that mgmt are getting the company out there, and being visible to investors.

Any thoughts on why the 'globally recognised German manufacturer' is not being named (unless I have missed it) - NDA perhaps?

Decent sized late-trade from yesterday (115k Buy) reported earlier today, no impact on today's SP though

Why are posters surprised that there has been no TR1's?
Posters have been talking about large sellers from the current TR1's supposedly selling out for nearly 2 months now to explain this not hitting 200p, yet nothing, despite volumes making this easy to manage witihn a couple of weeks if they wanted to disappear.
Maybe the TR1's are not selling?
Maybe they were just reducing due to the SP rise and having to manage their required protfolio % levels as is normal practice for large holders?

1 week tomorrow until some solid news and a true picture of the situation on sales (albeit on a delayed basis unless they provide a YTD update which I beleive is likely).
Short term SP action has not been surprising, or a worry for me.
Judge GDR more rationally/factually on the HY update and any accompanying news next week rather than ifs, buts and maybes, as many have been doing of late

What sort of rise were you expecting to see today?
It's a collaboration. It's more good news. BUT, just like Ricardo, nothing concrete by way of numbers (yet).

Happy withi this update, personally, and the move so far today pretty much to be expected imo.

Sitting tight and expecting a very different situation here at the end of 2021. Lots to be excited about in the coming months and years.

Decent set of results announced today (imo), given the climate of the past year.
They announced good momentum in Q4 and are encouraged by the medium term outlook.
They reiterate their commmitment to being a leader in ESG and sustainability.

From the Chief Executive review:

Given that 2nd - 5th April is the Easter weekend, I expect to hear something concrete for the conlcusion of the funding arrangement prior to this weekend
Anything after will be a further signal to me that there is more to this than we are being told, especially as 2 'expected' completion timelines have already passed in the past 6 weeks or so.

Not sure if already discussed, but where do you see Stripe in this space, competitor, potential investor, benchmark for comparison/growth potential?
They have a huge valuation ($95bn) and have just completed a big fund raise ($600m), with the intention to expand more into Europe.
Mark Carney recently joined their board recently too.
Their valuation has tripled in the past year

BV's MO here is very similar to another (banned) poster.
Makes one or two initial valid points at the outset, but then everything is a negative slant, not invested, and within a short space of time becomes the most frequent poster on this board, and one who likes to bat things back and forth with other known disruptors (e.g. gkb who seems to disrupt multiple boards).

Funny how this 'new' poster joined LSE only a few days prior to the other banned poster finally disappearing from here, made no posts at the outset, before their 'arrival' as a white knight here to any newbies.
Just a coincidence though, I'm sure.
Filtered for me when the posting frequency ramped up and the agenda became clear.

Not averse to alternative views, but the relentless posting of the same is always a red flag.

Note, as others will know, my own view has changed in the past few weeks (since the Jan 25 Funding RNS), as I have posted before, but keeping my posts here to a minimum now.

Not fully woken up to have missed that.
That should be the way forward, imo, make use of opportunities like these, and then, if need be, the cash generated from these can ten fund the purchase of any additional stake in the current assets for further growth.
From the interview, there is plenty of cash available, so there should be no need for any funding to move forward

I think he said in the interview that this addition was just dipping the toe in the water. It sounded like there was the likelihood of the stake being increased at some point in the future, or the possibility of taking up similar opportunities.
It seems a good fit with the company business model, and as DB said, it also helps get UJO's name out there more as a serious player.
He quite liked the FT article giving UJO a mention post-consoilidation!
An astute move for me, far better than buying up additional % in the (currently) non-producing assets.

A good couple of days, with an unexpected news update and a very encuraging interview.

On Friday, my provider still had not reflected the consolidation on my holding, it was still showing the old holding and SP.
Today, the holding has at least been updated and cob Friday SP gives a correct valuation, but they are not able to offer any buy/sell price if I wanted to place out a trade.
Not looking to add, just happy to be back in profit which I was not expecting to see so soon.

Last year (June RNS) they announced a target to reduce greenhouse emissions by 40% by 2030.
I wonder if they will be looking to accelerate that target given the current updates and targets being set by global governments in recent months.

Wood Group Final results out on Tuesday.
May be worth a squint to see what shape they are in, their outlook for 2021 and any updates such as progress with their carbon emission reduction strategy, and if they give any hints to other plans, or tie-ups.
Not expecting a specific EQT announcement, but you never know.
