Oktane,
Of course past performance should be a consideration.
But for me, and as I have stated many times over the past 18 motnhs or so, I could not care less about Brockham, Balcombe, Lidsey.
Yes, they are still 'assets' on the books, but as Baits said, they were all under Vonk, and I have made my investment decisions here drawing a line under those.
I have always seen the 'new' bod and company direction as post-Brockham, and will judge them on SF alone. And on this, you will see from my history that this view has changed in the past 2 months (specifically since the end of Jan RNS on the delays to funding).
It has always been only about SF for me, ever since the project was announced.
I held after Brockham to see what this was about, and have stayed (and increased my holding) for SF only. Nothing else.
That is not 'taking a punt', imo, and many others seems to have the same view.
If (IF), anything comes of Brockham, Balcombe and Lidsey, then that is a bonus for me.
Focus should be on SF and completing the funding.
To add, I also could not care less about geothermal and all the new plans under consideration. They are getting in the way, and seem a distraction (smokescreen?) for the funding which is becoming a concern, as they seem to be getting pushed to the fore.
Get the funding sorted, get on wirth SF.
I will be long gone once SF starts producing, altough my expectation was that it would be Q4, or Jan at the latest, so the timeline is hugely disappointing (comparable with the past, so recognising past performance in respect of delivery and timeframes).
I have my own timelines for action here regarding my investment, starting with the funding news.
Of course there is no guarantee on anything. This is AIM. I know that, as do many, hence it being high risk. I am aware of the risks, and invested accordingly. My decisisions, and I will take full responsibility for it, whichever way it goes.
I have invested only what I can afford to lose here, as I do everywhere else.
