Surely today would be a good day for SS to drop a testing update RNS if figures are available, finally push this SP past 2p ceiling.
We must be due an update soon. My prediction was to see something by this Friday, we'll see.

I have faith, chitty, just a little more perspective than most and not getting carried away by all the rampers and de-rampers on these boards.
Have been holding since December last year with top ups along the way, so not as exposed as many PI's are and happy to hold pending news and updates.

Even the most patient of investors are getting frustrated at the lack of movement on the SP of late. News needed to break past this 2p ceiling.

Many on here yesterday at 16p telling people they would be mad to sell now and talking 20p, 30p, 50p, etc.
Always dyor and set your own targets for getting in or out. Easy to get carried away by hype.

This feels similar to previous days: a drop in the morning, holding in the afternoon and finishing back level for the day.
Unfortunately, this share needs some news to get the SP moving up. Better volume so far today though, so could be proved wromg.

Expecting to see a pause before the next push up, but all looking good.

Was thinking this would end up level at the close.
Looks like this is not going to do much until we get a Kim update. News needed to pick up volumes.

I have posted before that some of the small cap fund managers will only invest in companies where management are actively invested, so SS not being invested could be detrimental to some II's getting in on the game.
Not fully au fait with the current MAR process for closed periods, but exceptions are permitted to allow for trading, subject to insider rules, and I would have thought that taking up of options would not necessarily be an issue,
Someone with a better knowledge of MAR may be able to clarify.
Agree with the original point that SS has had plenty of opportunity to invest.

Why have a rational debate about the weald when we can just have another 'them' vs 'us'. spat.
ANGS vs UKOG, or LSE vs twitter. Take your pick. Day after day.

I'm invested in both ANGS and UKOG, like many are, but it will never stop the 'mine is better than yours, we have a licence and you don't, how many tankers have you had' brigade.

I feel that the tanker sightings are helping to maintain the SP around current levels (preventing drift), giving some comfort to PI's who are thirsty for news in the absence of a testing update.
Certainly no harm in seeing these updates, which are definitely appreciated, but the market does not seem interested and it will probably be the same for Angus too imo, although there may well be a short term boost once the first action is sighted there.
A good RNS is needed to boost this SP, hopefully we will see one soon.

I was not around for the 11p high, but don't think it is worth trying to understand that temporary high.
A lot of things have changed since then, and for me, referencing back to this figure is clouding people's judgement of where this could be short term.
It is noticeable that many of the serial rampers predicting the SP rocketing have gone quiet of late, which of course may change when we start getting news of the Kim testing.
The SP will hit 2p, but I believe it will take a news update to do so, and even great Kim results may not see a SP much higher than around 2.5p (hope to be proved wrong though) until more clarity is received on things like planning, production licence, infrastructure, any funding requirements, etc. A possible JV may be needed to really move the SP, but this may be longer term..

Still plenty to do here, but positive on good results being released soon and patiently awaiting the SP to rise. Small gains in the short term, but long term looking good imo.

Agreed. 2p ceiling may not be broken until Kim testing results are released.
Given the recent SP reaction to news, not expecting huge gains in the short term from any testing update.
Great to see a blue start, expecting to finish flat again, or slightly higher as volumes too low of late.
Patiently waiting news.

Hope you're right, but feel we are holding around the current level for now.

You can sense that the interest is building though as the number of posts here has increased considerably of late and also from the level of the (pointless) UKOG vs ANGS posting that is going on (plus the equally pointless LSE vs twitter bickering).
Like many others, rooting for all weal players to deliver.

So you are saying that during a testing period, rather than testing to see how much oil can be recovered from the different layers and at what rates over different time frames, chokes, etc, they will just turn off the taps and bring zero oil to the surface on the off chance they could make a few extra quid if the oil price rises and leave any oil that is brought to the surface in the storage tanks waiting for the oil price to rise?
I'm no oiler, or businessman, but this doesn't sound like good business to me.

A lot of people who bought in last year at 7p plus would probably welcome the chance to get out at this point.
I am underwater at a 2.23 average, but relaxed at his point in time as still expecting good news.
I am struggling to see how the SP can get past the current 2p ceiling until we get an update and feel that even with great testing results on the Kims we may not see the SP reach 2.20 to 2.50 in the short term.
Looks like one to sit on for the medium to long play for many with the appetite to do so.

I was a little confused as to where we might be with testing.
Despite the RNS (10 Oct?) outlining where we were at, I think some folks were talking yesterday about K4 being tested before K3 (or maybe I misread).
SP still in the doldrums with relatively small volumes over the past few days. Needs some news to pick up volume, and hopefully the SP will follow. We are a long time trying to breach the current 2p ceiling and move on up.

A good start to the morning again.
I have to confess to taking out half of my initial investment before the close last night.
I was intending to hold LT and add more if the price had stayed lower, but over 55% profit in 2 weeks not to be sniffed at and have a building project needing some additional funds.
