If it is genuine abuse (from anyone), report posters rather than filter them.
I don't use the filter. A lot of nonsense is posted on here, but it's fun at times reading some of the exchanges and conspiracy theories.

Fairly easy to spot which posters to take notice of and which ones to ignore after a while.
And by this I do mean positive and negative comments, as it is possible to be pro-UKOG but have reservations about certain aspects and raise these concerns, although many on here do not seem to think so.

You always seem to struggle with providing accurate figures/dates when trying to make a point.

The high last December was 1.48 (05/12), so 20% is more accurate.
The low last December was 1.25 (18/12), so hardly a significant change to where we are today.

I presume you actually mean the high from December 2017, but please stop using selective statistics to try and back up your clearly disruptive agenda. Anyone can do that to make a point, positive, or negative.
We are up over 10% since June last year (13/06). See what I did there?

Sorry that some folk feel the need to post that kind of stuff, that's actually why I am not on twitter.
It was bad enough on here when one poster suggested some truly disgusting things regarding MM's recently just because the SP had gone done.
Posts were removed, but not even a ban for them which was ridiculous.

I must confess to not always being foth's biggest fan as some of his more personal tweets can be a step too far at times, but I do understand that this may only be in response to provocation.
Twitter can be a good platform and source of information when used in the right way, so perhaps I will reconsider.

All rather unsavoury (on all fronts imo), but can understand their stance if that is what they have done. Their choice after all.

Any sensible entity with a large holding would not place a significant order to execute in one single trade unless the broker had a specific buyer/seller to match the order, perhaps at mid.
A large order would be traded throughout the day, or over many days in smallish chunks as a % of adv in order to avoid moving the market.
I feel it is fairly standard practice and what these trades represent is nothing more than that.
Others may have different theories.

I do get your point, Ironic, but people should not just read and believe the positive comments only.
Just because someone posts a negative view on some aspect of the company (e.g. lack of communication, company valuation, or, dare I say it, skin in the game), it doesn't mean they are anti-ukog.
People will have legitimate concerns to discuss, technical matters they may not understand properly, or would like answer to questions that other posters will have different opinions on which may come across to some as a negative.

No company is perfect, all could do certain things differently, or better. and not everyone who is pro-ukog will always agree on how things are being done, or the best way forward (e.g. any long term financing requirements).
There are lots of positives here and things are looking better day by day with oil flowing and further news to come.

Stifling debate and labelling everyone trolls, swampies, shorters, etc just because they have a different (perhaps negative) viewpoint seems to be the norm on here as well as filtering anyone who does not share your own view (as some seem quick to do).

Yes, the negative posting is more prevalent, that seems to be the nature of discussion boards in general, but there are also a few ukog-zealots who will not listen to an alternative view and will promote (ramp?) ukog at all costs.

Most posters can see the various agendas, know which posters are genuine and who to ignore, and no one should be making any investment decisions based on what anyone is posting on here.
DYOR and believe in your own strategy, whatever that may be.

One point you mention is annoyed locals/neighbours. My understanding was that ukog had a good relationship with locals, are working hard to keep disruption to a minimum and that the locals were very much against the protestors. I could be wrong on this though.

I have no problem with positive or negative views and read all posts and choose not to filter anyone.
Some is interesting, some is useful/insightful, some is amusing, much is annoying, none will affect my investment decisions though.
All is part and parcel of posting on a public forum, like it or not.
Some people will always be pessimistic, or optimistic regardless of what is going on, good or bad and post accordingly.

What is not ok though, as someone just stated in a separate thread, is the abuse, insults and deliberately misleading information which often fills these boards which should get called out for Admin to deal with as they see fit.

The point I have tried making on this subject, is that many Fund Managers will only invest in companies (particularly small cap/AIM) where management are aligned with shareholders and physically hold shares in the company.

Yes, SS does hold options. No, he does not currently hold physical shares.
Argue the above as you will as to whether he has 'actual skin in the game', but it is a possibility that UKOG could be missing out on potentially significant II investment due to SS not having a physical holding in the company.
FM's may be looking, but may decline to invest for their own Funds as well as their client managed funds on this basis and look at competitors in the same sector instead.

Just my thoughts.
I did post a week ago that this topic had been done to death and should perhaps be dropped, but here we are.

I am invested, but I do not see this as a material factor in my own investment decision.

I am convinced our time will come too.
I do feel that people referencing back to the 11p high though is a bit of a red herring though, different situation entirely (although before my time here tbf).
More realistic for me is to look at the SP over the past 6 months or so when testing started for a better guide on a truer valuation for now, certainly until we get more official numbers out.
The number crunchers may disagree!
The activity of the past 6 months can only be good (imo) for the companies' future and fortunes, but I feel we are still some way off from serious II getting involved as I see it as still too much of a punt for them for now.
Some will have already dipped their toes in the water already for sure.
A TR1 notification would do wonders here.

Will be very surprised if we do not see the back of these current lows once the next RNS is out.

Good initial post in this thread and follow up comments too.
It must be said though, that amongst those same characters posting 24/7 for years, there are also posters (rampers?) repeating the same information day after day and predicting unrealistic SP targets (based on current known data).
I remember claims for this time last year of 10p, 20p plus, even 50p by year end,
We should not lose sight that the SP ended 2018 down circa 58% despite a hugely successful (imo) testing programme to date, which just shows that good news does not always get reflected in the SP.
There are many factors behind this, not just the usual responses of MM games, shorters, SOLO selling, poo, etc.
Sentiment and trading volume play a big part in getting the SP moving.
Realistically, there are still too many unknowns, for me, to place a realistic valuation here, but much will become clearer as we progress through 2019.

It would be interesting to see how many holders here are currently sitting in profit (my average a shade over 2p which I am ok with but I know many have higher averages).
I do try not to not take all the posting here too seriously (but often fail),
AIM investment is often frustrating and definitely not for the faint-hearted, or impatient.

To date, I have not used the filter option and do not intend to. Some of the posting can be amusing at times and some can be a nice distraction. If you take it all too seriously, better not to be on here.
It is a shame that some knowledgeable posters get bullied by other posters who seem to believe that they own these boards and try to dictate to everyone else what they can and cannot post, often stifling debate and throwing around abuse and insults at will.
Any blatant lies, mis-leading comments and abuse should be dealt with by Admin.

Scandic, I admire your tenacity on the subject of SS's skin in the game.

I am also frustrated that he has not physically purchased any shares in the open market and consider the option defence put forward by many to be a weak distraction to this, along with the closed period defence.

There are many examples available of institutional investors and fund houses who will not invest in companies whose management are not aligned with shareholders with their own physical holdings and I have posted this multiple times previously to no avail.

UKOG are potentially missing out on II investment, but this is an unwinnable argument and one, perhaps to let go now.
Not a unique situation, and not a material factor for me with regard to my own holding.

Of course they do, and all investment firms have stringent compliance considerations too, but don't let any of that get in the way of the conspiracy theories and truth-bending that is rife in order to justify any positive or negative SP performance on here.
Don't forget, the shorters have all been rushing to close their positions for more than 6 months now and the MM's are keeping the SP down to help out their mates.

To be fair, certain posters on this board have been posting gloating messages for months about how Angus have a production licence and UKOG don't.
And now ANGS appear to be in the same boat, it is suddenly seen as a good thing.
None of those same posters have mentioned the recent SS interview where he addresses the licence position, despite gleefully posting links recently to other negative articles about UKOG here (and on the UKOG board) and acting all innocent about posting them 'as an fyi'.
Clear agendas (I know many UKOG posters are the same).

Shame really.
Lots of people invested in both and many that aren't still want all the weald players to do well.

Sadly, the Weald does not seem to get much mention in O&G specialist publications that I can see, so don't think anything mainstream is happening soon, unless all parties pick up on their PR which is not proving to be a strong point.
Would be nice though.
Maybe on completion of the EWT there will be some shouting from the rooftops and media coverage will pick up.
