Shocked and stunned by the revelation today that after more than a year of posting (mostly) wrong daily price predictions for UKOG by MR008, and commenting exclusively on this board in that time, he has posted on the ANGS board twice today.
Is there nothing sacred on AIM any more?

I timed my last post well. Lol

So many posts seem to be about why are people being selling at 'X' price and that this share should be 'Y' price.
Before Christmas it was folk selling at 14p/12p when it should be 20p/30p and now it's folk selling at 4p/5p when it should be 7/8p, or higher.
Frustrating where we are at present, I know, but we know the reasons.
How about we just let them get on with the work program and judge the SP on the back the success (or otherwise) of that?

Averaging 6.7p after top up today and positive on news. Some patience needed at this point imo.

I did state that I felt there would be no RNS at each stage of the work program and that we could expect tweet updates in the interim, but was mocked by some of the experts here who expected an RNS at every stage.
If they are running to schedule and progressing as stated, with allowances for adjustments to the program as they see fit, then there should be no need for an RNS until the program has been completed, or there is a material change that necessitates a market update.
Just my opinion. Happy to be proved wrong on this, but feel an RNS at every stage is overkill when they have outlined a schedule with timelines.

Not sure that the water isolation would warrant an RNS given the published timetable (albeit generous timeframes).
A tweet perhaps.
It may be the week following Easter to get this update, but we'll see.

MM's do not know when an RNS is about to land. This is an often repeated myth. No one gets a heads up.
It is a secure message delivery system and companies/administrators are required to compile and maintain a list of all 'insiders' (which must be disclosed to the FCA, if requested) who will be the only persons privy to any RNS detail as well as when it will be delivered, if not immediately - they can be set to release at a set time and are stored electronically until that time.
The insiders are obligated under FCA rules not to disclose any information until it is made public.
RNS announcements are submitted directly to the market and no other individual or entity outside of the insider list sees it, or even gets a heads up one is due until it is released to the market as it all happens electronically

Agree Oakleaf/Zoom, nothing of substance likely to come from the AGM other than reassurances and general 'feelgood' soundbites as anything else would need an RNS.
An update on the rig sourcing process would be useful and we need a firm timetable for the short term activities other than 'planned drilling for Q2 being finalised'.
We will probably remain relatively static until we get this next update.

Also, we keep seeing reference to 'reservoir management' for the ongoing reduced flow at Portland. Have they ever officially expanded on this? May have missed something here, just seems a bit woolly.

Still positive nonetheless and looking forward to any feedback from the AGM.

Expecting some news/update either in the run up to the AGM, or at the AGM itself.
SS needs to deliver some positive news to investors and restore sentiment to get the SP moving in the right direction.

I sense the tankers will be spotted and reported, but perhaps, conveniently, the first ones may be 'missed' going in, but reported going out an hour later giving plenty of time to pile in first.
Nothing wrong (imo) with putting the time in and gaining an advantage, but all the reporting, although useful for investors and a welcome insight, it is definitely not an altruistic act.

Nice to see the continuation re: keeping shareholders informed/updated.
Good to see this positive change and it will be interesting to see how close to the timetable events happen.
Not expecting a substantial SP rise on the back of these updates, but regular news and improving sentiment should boost volumes and be reflected in a continued tick up in the short term.
6p seems to be a barrier at present. Hopefully this can breach and hold above this level soon as work progresses.

I remember Rodders confidently predicting that it would be $74 by the end of March.
Still a way to go, but it's been a steady rise up since the December low.

This constant reference to 11p is such a red herring for me, especially as it was intra-day and the close was closer to 8p.
Different times and circumstances and not a true comparison to where the company is now imo.
A much better reference for me for the SP is from the start of testing in June last year when we started to see better detail available from testing, RNS, etc rather than a lot of speculation.

I consider the highs of around 2.50p seen around July/August as a truer indicator for reference of where we should be.
So, still a disappointing drop, but a fairer comparison based on actual news.

I'm sure many will disagree, especially those sat here with a higher buy-in.
Dilution has not helped, but a CPR would get this rising.
Still seeing Q3 onwards for a return to 2p plus and holding for the long term.

Not wishing to be pedantic, but from the post at 08;10, "UKOG was funded for the work programme :D What happened the other day?"
As many seem to have conveniently ignored, UKOG were specific that they were fully funded for existing projects for 2019, a big difference to being fully funded full stop.
And the current placing is not for the work programme, but for other opportunities, whatever that may mean,
A small point, but important to distinguish between what the company has said and how some people choose to interpret it.

As for placing rumours here, it is a possibility of course and the point made by ttc at 08;41 is correct re: any public comment by ANGS.
Today should be an interesting day. Hopefully, a poster or two attends the AGM and can give some feedback.

Agree that we should be concentrating on existing projects with available and allocated funding to generate income for expansion of said projects in the short term.
Looking longer term, however, is it possible though that although now is perhaps not the best time for a new opportunity (or the best way to source funding for it), the time taken to apply for planning, licences, kit, etc makes it prudent to put any plan in place early doors in readiness for, say, a 2020 project commencement at any possible new site?
