littlebricks,
Many funds will have permission/approval within their mandate to buy AIM shares.
They may have limits on the % of the total portfolio they can invest in AIM, the size of an individual holding in any AIM stock, or a minimum market cap for an AIM stock, but being on AIM will not hold back Fund investors at this stage of the company growth too much, imo.
One thing Fund Managers/analysts may also look at is whether management are personally invested as they see this as a good indicator for small cap companies.
For me, therre are plenty of good indicators here to suggest the company can attract large II's and Funds at this time.
It is a crowded space though, so getting coverage from the large firms is important. Hopefully, the addition of a second broker will help with that and lead to introductions, company meetings, etc, to help promote the company.
Longer term, moving to a main market would be a good plan, but there will be plenty of opportunities to attract chunky buyers now, especially after the latest government news and the spotlight being thron on this sector.
