Yes, they tested 2-3 million over a single weekend a few weeks back. Population 5.4m
They since announced they would test again with many being re-tested

Those carping on about the banning of petrol vehicles need to get their heads out of the sand.
All car manufacturers are moving away from petrol/diesel, and new technologies will come on leaps and bounds in this timeframe. Range of vehicles and prices will drop over time too. It is happening whether you like it or not.
It is not just BoJo on his own doing this, other governments are too, and there has already been a marked shift from Petrol/diesel vehicles whether you agree with this, or not.
The renewable/eco drive is really gathering pace. There is space for different technologies and will be for a considerable time.

BUT, you can still buy a petrol/diesel car for the next 10 years, and they aren't banning all petrol/diesel vehicles as of this date, so people will still be driving petrol/diesel vehcles for another 20/30 years. Longer still, perhaps.
Everyone knows oil products will still be needed, well past most of our lifetimes too, they will just be gradually phased out in favour of newer and cleaner technologies.

Everyone still has a choice (for now).
It is NOT a matter of one, or the other, full stop, like many seem intent on making it out to be.
Some people just seem so blinkered with their own viewpoint and cannot accept that different people have different opinions and make different choices.

Some good comments on this thread.
Everyone wants to make money from their investments, but sometimes there is more to an investment than the potential financial reward.

Yes, many may just be here for quick covid returns, and yes, many may have over-invested chasing the quick cash, but that is their choice, and their look out.

Those that want to spend all day knocking a company that is looking to make a difference to the lives of vlulnerable/sick people, or children should take a hard look at themselves, especially with their continual gloating over any SP drop and the clear enjoyment they get from predicting the company will fail.
Trying to justify their relentless posting of the same comments day in, and day out by saying they are tring to counterbalance the rampers, is no excuse.

A 4-bag on the current SP with no production/cashflow?
Expecting a re-rate in December if we get all those in quick succession, but let's get back to 1p and hold there, or above first.
Would be more than happy to see the SP around the 1.25 level by year end, if the aforementioned all come to fruition, together with an updated schedule to show short term focus, timelines, etc.

Have taken a position here ahead of the half-year results next week.
Not expecting anything out of the ordinary in the figures themselves, given previous company guidance, but will be interested in any company statement accompanying the results, especially with regard to any potential acquisition, or shareholder return from the Viridor sale proceeds (what remains of it).
My holding here is more for diversification and a long term view, than an expectation of short term gains.

Yes, today is the highest volume day since the Jülich RNS back on September 1st which saw siimilar gains
Looking like 2 decent days of rises (there must have been a leak on this yesterday), and mostly positive outlook on the board.
Posting levels are up, good news has dropped and the potential for 2021 looking better for AFC with each update.
Now would be a good opportunity for AB to do another Proactive interview to capitalise on this news and give an ExtremeE update.

I am reading the same too.
I would hope that any European manufacturing base would be in the UK and would have government support to do so.
Perhaps the government will announce a specific regeneration area, a 'hydrogen valley' if you like, as part of their new 'green Industrial revolution' proposals that are due to be announced?

The figure quoted (600k tests per day) was collectively - it was noted as a doubling of the current 500k per day capability

Whatever the reason, hopefully we can hold onto these gains and build towards a higher SP range

Each 'fill' has to be reported to the market at the date/time of execution (subject to certain exemptions) with the 'total' trade' for the day likely to be rebooked at end of day to allow for commission, fees.

You're right, Dave, the results themselves won't really tell us much, purely due to the time period covered.
I really hope the the bod will provide some kind of progress report on all fronts for the the period up to, say, the end October though, as much has, or should have, happened in this timeframe, and it would be prudent of the company to put a summary status update out, especially given the vaccine news and how this could impact the company over the next 6 to 18 months.
Although there has been many RNS issued since the last trading update, if you ignore price monitoring extensions and holdings notifications, there has not really been a great deal for investors to digest.

I can see a big backlash against potential drastic changes like those currently suggested, but they will have to pay for covid somehow.
Plenty of time until the next budget, there will be lots of these types of stories in the run-up to then, imo

I see 2021 as being a good year in this sector, so happy to hold and see what comes to fruition.
Only here for a few months, so my levels of optimism may be higher than many LTH's, but can already see that comms does need to improve - this can be said about most AIM companies though, so not a huge concern.
I am looking to reduce my AIM holdings thoughlout next year, but this is one I intend to hold onto.

Actually, Mirasol, I do not see any signs of 'abuse' to other posters from Milestones, just the callng out (correctly) of a well-known and disruptive poster who has been doing the same for 6 months, or so on here.
More than happy for deliberately misleading and disruptive posters to be held to account, so long as the posting content remains respectful.

I would be interested to hear your comments on the posting history of Rastuss, seeing as your objectivity here (and elsewhere) is generally of the sceptical/de-bunking variety

I have had Rastuss filtered for a long time now. Clear agenda driven posting..
He has been making deliberately misleading and disruptive posts here since May 2020, he posts more regularly than anyone else on this board (almost 2x more), is not invested, and has no intention of investing.
He denies that he has a personal issue with the bod members, yet continues to attack the bod members at every opportunity, and has historically posted on other boards connected to bod members too (with the same negative and personal attacks).
I recommend use of the either the report or filter buttons (or just ignore the blatant agenda like most do).
Genuine investors know the risks and will make any investment decisions on the factual information available

The sad thing is that TH2 will, of course, still have been topping up this week at these 'bargain prices' for this 'soon to be mid-cap olier'.
If this does ever come good and the SP gets to, say 0.40p, posters like TH2 (and Tymers) will be claiming a massive victory and vindication of their over-optimistic view of the company over the past 2.5 years.
