Looks like we are gearing up for a huge increase in electric battery production from 2023 onwards.
Plenty of need for the charging capacity to increase to support this.

Seems the company is not just looking at batteries for cars, which they see as being unused for large periods of time, but buses and trucks too.

Have you seen the volumes traded here over the past few days?
The amount of chat has been pretty minimal too.
I would suggest today's drop is purely a result of all UK markets being down, and most of the major European markets too, much like the late (and false) rise seen yesterday.

But just how much 'investment' has there been over the years to create this company and get to where we are now?
And what is the current bopd for investors to gauge that huge amount of investment against?

Compare to a quote from an article on the RBD RNS today, talking about Wytch Farm.
"Production at the south coast site hit a high of 110,000 barrels per day in 1997, but has now dwindled to 13,500".

Oh, how I would love ukog's output to 'dwindle' to such levels.

I think shares are traded on more than 1 exchange, and have seen before that not all exchanges seem to get the trades reported for some reason.
I think it was NEX, but that applied to another stock, but it could be the reason.
Also, do not expect the trade being listed as a buy or sell to be accurate. The trade direction is never reported to the market on execution, it is literally just a 'trade', so what gets shown is an indication only based on the bid/ask at the time (it has nothing to do with MM games, manipulation, etc as is often reported on these boards)

I share the views of your post. The change of focus to a greener agenda has really gathered pace this year and will become an albatross around the neck of onshore O&G with regard to planning, etc in a lot more cases.
My view at the beginning of 2020, was to reduce my AIM expsosure, and especially to look to exit at least 2 out of 3 of my AIM O&G holdings by year end.
This is still the plan, but I am prepared to extend deadlines for 2 who are on the cusp of news/activity which I will await (good or bad), and am comfortable doing so. The 3rd (I'm sure you can guess) looks like a truly dead duck, sadly (not ANGS).

Posters on these boards may be glad to know that I have no intention of posting on those particular boards once I have sold.

To add, I think the 'big players' will have a bit of a stranglehold on the prime motorway locations, so they may be looking at more 'out of town' locations such as large retail shopping parks to compete more with the supermarket superstore offerings

I don't know the area too well but my friend is in Great Notley.
Mostly houses with their own drives, so little need for locals perhaps, but could get some reasonable traffic from the racecourse nearby (ok, infrequent usage), and from the oulet shopping site.
I suspect that even with wanting to carefully choose the sites to locate these forecourts themselves, there will be litttle to actually choose from when it comes to options, unless the proposed planning changes will make a difference.
It is a start though, and data will be useful to see

Slightly off-topic, so apologies, but the Gridserve electric car forecourt opens today in Braintree, 'a UK first'.
It will be interesting to see how this goes with regards to capacity (36 various charging points), actual time to recharge, cost, queues (or not), etc.

But Gallifreyan, you are forgetting that, apparently, you are not allowed to use official RNS, company interviews, broker notes, or any information on the company website as sources of research here (unless the historical info can be used as a negative, of course).
Nor are you allowed to refer to any signed off-take agreement, planning decision, or any independent published analysis to gauge the future prospects and potential of the company.

This is ANGS where different rules apply.
You must do your own independent research.
Any permitted research must contain large doses of doubt, be sourced from the dark web, or have their origins in a theory put forward by posters with superior knowledge than us, and who are just here to help us all after all.
Any independent research that suggests this is just a cosy arrangement of mis-direction and can-kicking to fool any and all investors is also considered acceptable, as is deliberately misleading statements taken from official sources, especially financial, but 'interpreted' to ensure there is a negative spin on it.
Official sources are ok to quote as 'research' if you can put a negative spin on things that are said, but not if you want to suggest the prospects they outline as being positive.

Let's keep the discussion realistic and objective, and within the boundaries of what has been deemed acceptable to keep us all safe from ourselves.

Pumpers and Dumpers is a consequence of a board/stock becoming more popular and being in the spotlight.
The number of posts here has increased fairly considerably even in the past couple of weeks and will probably contiune to do so.
I think most recognise that what gets posted on here has no impact on the SP, but what it can do though is put doubts in the minds of some investors who may be 'persuaded' from buying, selling, or holding, depending on the point being made by these types of posts, and it may deter new investors from taking anything on here seriously and wanting to genuinely engage in discussion (despite dyor).
Also, as well as preventing genuine discussion, posters will often get involved in petty arguments and the board gets overrun with disruptive posts, and often abuse, which is what some posters will be trying to achieve.
My general rule is to (try to) ignore the obvious agenda merchants. Not always easy though.
I have no issue with alternative viewpoints if backed up, as it makes for a healthy debate, and makes you think again about reasons for being invested, which everyone should re-evaluate regularly, but I have made more use of the filter button of late as some just become relentless with dozens of posts a day, every day saying the same thing.
I have no issue with traders (not for me), it is the ones who loudly promote buying (or dumping) with every post, whilst quietly doing the opposite that I can't stand, and there will be quite a few of these, sadly.
Anyway, here's to a good week ahead. We seem to have found a new, hopefully temporary range in the 30's for now. Good to see the back of the teens, and 20's (fingers crossed for good).

I think there will be quite a few more worthy candidates for receiving recommendations even in the Hydrogen/renewables space alone.
I would prefer ANGS to stay under the radar anyway and just get on with what needs to be done.

I was actually in the middle of posting a reply last night to ask if he was sorry for being so abusive to all the non-believers on here on a pretty much daily basis for several years, mocking them them on twitter and helping to generate what amounted to a bear-baiting culture on this site (along with certain other posters), when he actually posted an apology to Ninetails for what he said in the past.
I then left it as I could see today turning into another Adrian vs 'the eyes' tit-for tat fest. Glad the mods have prevented that.

I would see his turnaround (epiphany?) as genuine if he was to apologise to the 3 posters who probably received the worst of the twitter mob wrath though; Seadoc, Penguins and Mirasol. That would convince me of Adrian's genuine contrition.

Your confirmed holding is based on your actual position on the official register at the end of each and every trading day, so whtever threshold you reach oin that day is your position to be reported.
Say you have a 10% order and on day 1, only 4.5% is complete. You would be onliged to report an initial 4.5% position within the required timelines.
If on day 2, you complete a futher 2.5%, you would then have to report your 7% holding within the required timelines, and so on.
It is not when you finish your total order, it is your actual holding as at the end of each trading day that determines your position (think eligibility for dividneds in this regard - you wouldn't want to miss a dividend on a 7% holding becuase you still had 3% to go to your 10% target).
A large order used to remain 'open' at the end of each trading day, and was notinued to be dealt each day until complete, but the dealing rules changed a few years ago to ensure that any aprtial daily fill was 'closed out' at the end of every trading day, with a 'new' order raised for any remaining portion of the total trade the next day.
That is my understanding of the way a position would be traded, and reported.
You do own the shares at each step of the process on a daily basis. You can extend settlement (or reduce), but I don't believe you can 'defer' payment on any executed portion of a trade until the balance has been completed.
I am not sure you can delay reporting trades anyway (under MiFID II Trade Reporting rules), so your suggested scenario may no longer be possible, although it may have been in the past (pre-2016 MiFID implementation).
Happy to be corrected though.

Just to add,I beleive the holder has 4 trading days to make the notification to the issuer (AVCT), who then has to inform the market (TR1 RNS) by the end of the following business day.
So, there could be a delay in up to 5 days of a thresold change
