Good volumes again so far today, and the SP seems to be holding these gains and less volatile than yesterday.
I believe we saw a sharp dip before the U.S. markets opened yesterday, before a decent recovery back up towards the end of day.
Similar SP action likely today?

Very disappointing year for O&G, although understandable under the circumstances.
I was always looking to exit 2 of my 3 O&G 'minnows' this year, expecting to take a loss on them both, but with UJO hopefully taking up their slack.
All 3 have struggled given what was hoped for in what has been a very challenging year in more ways than one, but at least optimistic of breaking even on one of the other shares now, perhaps even making a profit early next year.
Even my big oilers have not fared well. Exited Shell at breakeven to move into hydrogen plays, but BP still resisting any rise.

Certainly lots to be excited about here for 2021, and potential for some quick rises on pending news.

Just for some perspective. Dilution aside, UJO finished 2019 at 0.1625, so the current SP/MCAP is not too bad given the (albeit) slow progress this year, and the placing debacle (again).
We are surely in better shape 1 year on as we move into what is really a crucial year for UJO.
I may well have had similar thoughts this time last year though!
Delivery is key now though. I suspect the markets will be expecting results and not the reliance on the ongoing potential here.

I ignored my own strategy to not hold more than 20% in 1 stock and moved it to 25% to hold from selling some AFC hoping market would kep track.
Eventually took some profits when it breached 30% value today as I have got too greedy in the past.
I still believe AFC is just at the start and 2021 will be a strong year, but I feel more comfortable with reinvesting profits elsewhere. I will let the remainder ride though.
I have kept some aside to put here, but today was too crazy a day for me after all the Tradegate excitement of yesterday, so will see what the next couple of trading sessions brings before adding

Great to see such a wide range of predictions.
I will not add mine, as even my most conservative predictions on other shares in the past have often turned out to be generous when looked back on.
Not trying to deramp, but I would not be surprised if the closest prediction turns out to be in the bottom 25% of suggested values (currently up to 15p, so still a decent 1 year return). Median is 18p (if I have remembered correctly how to work this out)

This board has become unreadable for quite a while now due to the board bullies and the obvious agenda merchants.
Fair to say we are waiting on news, but the non-stop bullying and abuse is tiresome now.

No intention to buy back in lower, but have taken out my initial investment here today.
Before anyone tells me I am mad/crazy to sell now, it is my decision, and one I am happy with. If the price continues to rise I will still make very good profits (over 300% up). I have learnt not to be greedy.
I sold this tranche at double what I was originally intending to do only 2 weeks ago.
My portfolio is more balanced now and I am comfortable with my remaining overweight holding here to the extent that I will let this run now and enjoy the ride wherever 2021 takes AFC.

My post was just to point out that some only look at things selectively and do not seem willingly to look at the whole picture.
A headline statement has a better impact after all, but the underlying story often tells a different side.
The humble PI is statistically unlikely to be a regular big winner on AIM regardless of how well we dyor and believe in the company.
A short term play often becomes a long term hold and many do not have the patience for that.

Although the current SP is disappointing, I will have a go at arguing with that post.

Placing. We do not know the full circumstances of this. It may well be that institutions, or those sounded out about the placing could not justify a valuation anywhere close to the high SP at the time. You can only get a placing away at a price others are willing to pay.
Indeed, it was only a 1.2% discount to the 20 day vwap prior to the date of the announcement, and the timing suggests it was being discussed well before the 5th May release (close price was 200p that day). That is a good deal in reality, given the actual circumstances at the time.
These things are not as cut and dried as people like to make out. Selective use of stats, etc

Sales. The end of year results RNS (17 Nov) confirms sales. Perhaps not the numbers hoped for (or numbers even released), but there HAS been sales, so 'haven't sold $hit' is a false statement.

So, I would argue the post is incorrect/misleading, but that is not to say that what has been achieved has not been disappointing given what we have all hoped for.
The post also conveniently ignores the positives arounnd the hearing test and the Hep C study.
Just offering a different view, and some realism (?) to the argument. Things are never just black or white, despite how they are often presented as being so.

It may be a very simplistic view, but perhaps the reason that testing is not mentioned as much now is perhaps becuse there is not a reliable enough test (or tests) to handle the volume of testing required and give accurate results in timelines that make it possible to make some kind of return to normal.
Yes, the focus is more on the vaccine for the govt (and media) but that is because it is digging them out of a hole and can deflect from the poor handling of testing, and the sub-standard tests available to date (accuracy and time).
The govt are clearly desperate to get people back to work and get the economy back on its feet, in part to cover their own handling of this.
Lockdown is the default option as no one seems to know what is the best course of action when numbers keep rising.

The vaccine rollout out will be slow, and I fear that the infrastructure to roll out mass testing and vaccination is not there anyway, regardless of what they tell us.
What were the figures for Slovakia mass testing, some 2m tested over 2 days in 1 weekend, whereas we managed only 100k odd in Liverpool over a week or so?
Hardly inspires confidence that they will get things right with even a great reliable and quick test.
Do we have figures for the numbers of vaccines given to date vs what they advised it would be? I would guess the numbers are a lot lower than originally anticipated

Sentiment, and hype can often lead to large and unjustifiable mcaps for AIM stocks during their early years which is why they are very difficult to value properly imo.
As with any share though, this can only take you so far, and eventually delivery and the generation of cashflow is what is needed to give some substance to the company and lead to a more 'normal' way to value the company, especially vs any peers (also confirmed orders/cashflow is key to getting away from placings and opening doors to alternative, and better sources of fund raising, when needed).
I believe that the news seen in the last few months is showing that AFC is ready to deliver now, and there are various other factors that mean this sector will be in the spotlight for the foreseeable future, so 2021 will hopefully be AFC's time to shine, and ExtremeE should be a catalyst for this.
Not usually one for predictions as my often conservative ones have always proven to be well out (over), but I am as confident for continued growth here now as I am with some of my main market holdings recovering strongly next year.
It won't be a steady uphill SP climb, it never is, but looking forward to the year ahead.

If you are concerned in any way, I would take some profits so that you remain invested at a level that you are comfortable with.
For me, stop losses represent a lack of confidence in a share, rather than a safety net.
Just my view, but not something I would consider personally.
All depends on your risk apetite, time horizon, exposure elsewhere, etc.

There will still be dips as well as peaks to come, as to be expected, but the focus is firmly on this sector now, sentiment is high, and SP momentum is on the up.
There would need to be a major hiccup for this to change imo, but DYOR.
I would consider adding even at these current highs, but as AFC is now 25% of my share portfolio and I am 220% up, I will just be happy that I have benefitted from the SP performance thus far, with the potential of plenty more upside to come, hopefully.

Other boards surprisingly busy yesterday and today.

It has been a strange year all round.
I had orignally hoped to exit ANGS by year end on SF delivery (hopeful that a 50% loss would be a result) and reduce my AIM exposure from 3 stocks to 1 stock.
Instead, The timeline for ANGS has been extended (like many stocks, so not exclusive), and as well as being hopeful of exiting in profit here now having bought to reduce my average, I have increased my AIM exposure to 8 stocks (from 13 in total)!
I am hopeful 2021 will be a good year for 5 of them with a good amount of news flow expected. 2 stocks may take longer to realise potential, and 1 is close to being sold at a near 90% loss to invest elsewhere.
It's all part of the fun (?) of investment.
Good luck to all for your investments in 2021 and beyond, and maybe some posters will actually invest in companies they comment on rather than have an obsession with posting incessantly to dissuade others from doing so (unlikely though).
Having said that, still plenty of trading days left this year for news of importance.
Funny that filtered posters seem to have better things to do than post over this festive period, it's almost as if it is not financially worthwhile for them to do so.

Looking at the KIID and the Prospectus for the ishares fund, the Fund looks to be more of a tracker fund vs the S&P Global Clean Energy Index.
The performance almost exactly mirors the index, they just seem to hold similar weightings, but adjusted slightly.

From the KIID: "The Fund intends to replicate the Index by holding the equity securities, which make up the Index, in similar proportions to it".

The index itself appears to show the smallest current constituent has an MCAP of 1,508 million USD, so we may be a little way of qualifying yet, although I can't see anything that states what the qualifying share characteristics need to be.
There does appear to be 1 UK constituent in the index with an MCAP of 3,494 million USD (as of Nov 30)

Those statements below may very well be true, but the problem we have found, as with many other similar discoveries, is the extraction of said oil.
Despite the advances seen since initial testing of these sites long ago, getting the oil to surface in 'commercial quantities' seems to be the problem. Many thought it would be different this time.
The real issue is that many feel we are continually being kept in the dark as to what is going on at HH, and why this previously announced 'commercial well' is not performing as we were led to believe, or producing anywhere near the quantities we were told all the various works would be able to do.

Still rising well here though, anything over 62p will be a good day today given the short session, and would coincidentally represent a 200% gain for me. That figure has a very nice ring to it.
