Robins. Don’t blame you for confusion. Shorters access shares from multiple sources. They essentially “ borrow” them from holders at an agreed price and drive it down to buy back cheaper. Finite number of shares. Find it on the investor section of 4D website. Shorters ( and mm’s) try to keep their methodology as secret as possible. They can almost always access these borrowed shares which they of course have to give back . So they buy them backalmost always on the market-at the cheaper price than they agreed.
It is a wonderful thing to watc a short squeeze when they cannot buy back below this price. Bery satisfying.

15 years ago in Germany the shorters of VW got a mega-squeeze and lost utter fortunes. Fascinating to read about. Shorting is now illegal in Germany!
Shorting destroys healthy markets and businesses.

It’s not ramping. Anyone with sende should never buy a share because of what someone they don’t know says on a chatboard. It’s sharing ideas. Ramping is redundant really and used as a weapon by those with issues.

I agree about the plus points re. the company and very much about the s/p divorce. The nature of today’s market.
I have discovered though that-unless rns-it usually takes a deeply driven price some time to brought back up again.

No sob story. Some people like to hear other peoples’ stories. It helps them manage their own . Why would I say anything about myself otherwise. I don’t have to. Why would I do that . To me it is sharing real life stories about the marketplace. But it obviously brings something up in you.

I was taken for a big ride once and was naive about companies’ seductive rns’s and the market. Yes I made some gung-ho errors. It is amazing how much one can learn about the market in 7 years after such an event.
More relevant is why are you so threatened by that fact that you have to attack someone you do not know??

I personally don’t expect any news. I never expect a RNS unless a date for results. But I have no idea. I did not see any reply back from the question about the compsny email being first or second hand. I don’t want to stir things but I’ve been taken for a ride too many times in the market and my life. Not a lot of trust left. I don’t expect. I take what comes.

I have followed and studied mm and shorter tactics for many years. Some are the same and some have evolved. The algo trading system controls the price. No stamp duty and no fee. A free trade of 1 share. Or 10 shares. We pay a fee. They do not. The mm’s control the price before a trade in order to satisfy the customer. And they respond to external AT’s. Nota bene:- an AT will affect the price more than an OT.
It’s all rigged and controlled. You can disbelieve all you like. Is fine. But you are not right. 4D is one of the most tightly controlled shares I have ever seen. Avct is another. SNG. SNP ( platinum) . Ncyt. All stamp duty-free shares. They focus on these. By Go* I could write a book about their games.
One of the most effective ( being used here and on Ncyt right now) is to bore/dishearten/de-faith the private investor who does not have enough patience. They sell cheaply and eventually the software shows when most have sold and the price goes up minus many p/i’s. One of many mm tricks. Used since the Great Depression.

It will continue for a while yet. I have no doubt. There may be an ex-forte seller but 4D are funded and supported. Biomes are not fairytales. They have significant intestinal effects. Sangiuelas did well to buy at 77p. ( I would love to know his average now) Sure it could go lower . Any share can . But this market is loaded dice.

Credible and creditable company being abused on the market. As is usual.
The games I have learned in the last 5-6 yrs in particular are quite outrageous . But I’m glad I’ve learned them and nobody will persuade me that shares are about the company. Not any more.

Can’t know but I doubt a pre-presentation RNS. I just feel it is a showcase. Important in itself. No point putting unreal bar of expectation up . The s/p is powerfully suppressed. Probably at the whim of WQ. But it is all a game right now.
Unfortunately it seems to be how the whole market has become. Rich pickings for the City who can control share prices at will and have software to control it and give investor information realtime. They have it all their own way.
And very very few companies value the private investor at all. We are a collateral nuisance to be bled if they need money. As a teacher I am supposed to teach that a share is a portion of the company and the company has a duty to value holders as one form of stakeholder. I teach them this to pass the exam but also tell them the truth to protect them.

These are games. Controlled. There are reasons. We can’t know them for sure. Accumulation? Selling? Treeshake?Many more.
They are temporary.
The share price does matter.
It’s not just buying into a company.
The share price may be divorced from the reality of the company but it can affect shareholders in many ways. So it is important.
But it is not to be trusted.
So we have to roll with whatever it is and have faith in the company fundamentals…its nature , market and prospects. All are very good. 79p will not stand.
