CGNR have already binned a JV proposal ostensibly for much enhanced terms with Demir. How many more JV suitors do we think will be waiting in the wings? Personally I believe the terms will be largely set and its a matter of getting it inked.
Just my 2c
Frustrating company I have found CGNR to be I'm afraid.
The news coming out of Chile creates big uncertainty next 6-9 months until election winners present themselves and a clear course of action emerges re: miners. This can only damage SA explorers and increase attractiveness of despisers in tier 1 jurisdictions.
AIMHO of course
mpd12 my thoughts exactly
Am in the same boat Malik however I had at least removed my original capital from the investment. There must be a lot of political wrangling going on otherwise a statement would have been more quickly made.
I do think however its an important litmus test of the will to drive sufficient EU independent critical minerals supply.
We shall see and will be interesting to note what happens here as the INF.AX story plays out.
Discl. I am more heavily invested in EMH by six fold than INF
Apologies Malik, you are correct, its project tenure rather than funding, no harm intended. Link below. I think its a mixed bag if tenure is not extended tbh, bullish for EMH in relation to reduced Li sources in an already large projected eu defecit but on the other side it would somewhat undermine the EU push for its own critical EV metals.
Certainly a massive question mark over INF at the moment that's for sure

Continuing to watch the EU thematic with interests. ASX listed stock INF (Infinity Lithium) has a project in spain and has voluntarily suspended trading on ASX pending an announcement following funding talks with EU (still ongoing).
Extension to trading suspension expires 19th May unless extended again so pretty crucial piece of news in relation to how positive EU are going to show themselves to be in driving the decarbonisation through vehicle electrification.
I would hope a positive funding announcement from INF next week may help a reversal of recent sp fortune here.
GLAH
Is it a whisky play for some barrel supplier? I'm intrigued...
Welcome aboard, good entry IMO
Question:
Grade of Li is circa 0.5% say vs spodumene miners circa 1.2%-1.4%. That's at least double the rock to shift to get at similar quantities of Li.
Does anyone have any insight into the difference in project economics between a spod miner and EMH? I'm scratching my head a little but it seems to me the vertical integration to production of Lithium chemicals is pretty key for EMH to achieve.
