neither norm nor otherwise news, my comment is simply that the rise may or may not be linked to the RNS as by comparison another copper play has exhibited a similar bump in the absence of an RNS.

You may be spot on or it may be coincidence.

The only thing I'm becoming more certain of in regard to investing in shares is that nobody really knows for sure.

perhaps the +7% is an RNS reaction but I suspect it may simply be market sentiment returning after a dip - the reason I say this is ARCM has done +6.84% today as well with no RNS and both XTR and ARCM have experienced an SP slide recently.

I think we have just been oversold and have hit investors re-entry level.

I hold both and XTR is the larger of my holdings so just an honest observation.

All that matters to AA is the asset data. That’s what they’re buying. Anything else regarding strategy this and lowball offer that is simply conjecture.

I would question whether BOD members who recently sacrificed options got a chance to get their noses in the trough for a few more shares prior to an AA deal......

OK, personally I've plugged PFS data into a spreadsheet to look at project value to come up with a rough target of where I think this can get to, from memory the EMH NPV is in excess of $1bn and the ZNWD NPV is in excess of $200m hence the approximate 5:1 ratio I stated earlier.

Based on where it currently is my LT ZNWD target or expectation (rightly or wrongly) is around 40p.

EMH is currently around 100p so I'm just struggling to see where your question came from based on available PFS data for both.

I also think ZNWD is likely to further lag EMH due to the smaller resource size being likely to make us a lower priority to support than EMH.

Just my thoughts mind and I could be completely wrong. Only time will tell

FWIW i agree with your assessment re the platform Nasdaq listing gives us and actually privately indicated to a friend I thought it would touch 150 yesterday also but was not surprised it didn't stick at this stage. Just sets the bar a little higher for resistance and I'm sure we will creep back up there.

Product pipeline looks a great LT investment. Let's see where 2021 and 2022 takes us.

Do yourself a favour and read each companies PFS and look at the projected profit from each.

I'm invested in both but EMH is a far larger resource and potential revenue generator so the short answer to your question is never.

my expectation (right or wrong) is that ZNWD is likely to track at 1/5th of EMH value at each equivalent phase of development.

For my part I not here and elsewhere that there's a lot of hubris in the market when a company lists on nasdaq, generally an initial spike followed by retrace as investors realise simply listing does not alter fundamentals of the business overnight.

It's wearisome reading the "pump and dump" complaints of frustrated folks as its simply market behaviour. You two fellas here however are echanging thoughts of more substance so I just wanted to say thanks

RNS issued data is king until amended.

Investing in a developing macro may provide additional upside (or downside though unlikely here).

EU funding benefits may provide capital for building the mine which would be at cheaper cost of capital than other available routes however whether one invests on the basis of that assumption is up to the individual investor.

I think on balance there is significant upside to the value stated in the PFS and once we progress to DFS that value will be further revealed.

I think this thread is arguing over whether it'll be profitable or very profitable.

Personally, I'll base my decision target points on current PFS data along with some margin for what I believe is a strong macro and then adjust my thinking as information changes.

Takeovers of distressed assets such as SSX , yes but a buyout of a mineral JORC from a company with no pressing need to sell I think your post of 40% is well wide of the mark.

and yes before anyone poses the question I exited before the recent spike and if I hadn't I certainly would have exited on the spike.

And no, I'm not looking to de-ramp for cheap entry and have redeployed my capital.

I sincerely wish holders the best of luck with it but simply urge caution. SP being cheap can be something of a distraction.

Ant its because he's heavily in on BCN. I'm invested in both and am happy to talk pros and cons but Dumbpunter recognises that EU ESG rules may force a shift away from VW sourcing from Ganfeng and hence impact on BCN.

I however thing the BCN supply will be key in making up EU consumer supply shortfall although longer term supply picture will migrate within EU borders for higher ESG compliance over the longer term.

Only time will tell but my opinion is both BCN and EMH will prove successful long term, there's just not going to be enough qualified supply for it not to be the case.

EMH have an EU driven ESG case driving an advantage, BCN have a technical capability advantage in its partnership with Ganfeng. Those are just facts as I see them.

Its not like Harry Potter vs Voldemort - "Neither can live while the other survives"

Would be interested to know if Dumbpunter actually exclusively holds BCN or whether they have any EMH and if not then the BCN BB is probably the correct space for these VW supply pronouncements
