Its notable however that Bernard has interviewed with proactive between then and now and not crux. Proactive is a soft option, asking few discerning questions and providing a platform for an "easy out" message by which I mean the CEO can get his message out without anything particularly challenging coming out.
Contrast with Bernard's experience with Crux and the pivot to gold and its no surprise to me he's not been back on Crux.
The risks and uncertainties associated with KOD lithium project, funding, FS weakness (and yes it is not a strong independent FS and was pointed out by Matt Gordon who expressed that while not impossible for it to fly certainly did not endorse the approach) were noted by Crux.
I respectfully suggest that BA is less than a strong independent CEO and is actually likely to be caught in a critica partnership trap which prevents him addressing some of these weaknesses in the project plan.
I question whether he is the man to resolve these weaknesses and furthermore I suggest that with a pivot to gold it gives him a lever to reduce SC influence on the direction of the company should it not be driven towards Lithium in the first instance.
KOD is suffering from a very inconsistent narrative imo.
Just my 2c and wtfdik.
Obviously my opinion as a relatively LTH is open to question / criticism and attack from folks who either do or don't: read RNS', Review FS data, crunch IRR numbers with sensitivity assumptions to both upside and downside.
Don't like the opinion? Filter away folks, am more interested in a rounded discussion of the pros AND cons of this investment.
editorial not; Neither a ramp nor a deramp. PS BA - answer your emails fella.
