It’s unhelpful to start using phrases like perceived facts. We’re all investing grown ups capable of debate.

If you have a problem with a perceived tone in response by all means call it out but crying foul because a factual inaccuracy has been pointed out isn’t useful in getting your point across.

Simply accept the correction , accept there may have been more precise language you could have used, restate your intended meaning and move on.

We’re all here to invest but I guarantee there’s nobody here who has nothing to learn.

Back2Black - nice chart but we should bear in mind (and its only my opinion) that charts are a historical record to the reaction of crowd psychology to many variables which can impact the real (fundamentals based) or perceived (sentiment based) value of a company.

For KOD the fundamentals are ok without being great and its all rather speculative however the sentiment on even fairly innocuous news has in recent times shown this share to be reactive to shifts in sentiment.

Beware the rampers who will appear and sell in to your buys and take a balanced view. Having seen the last three spikes up close I have no doubt that reasonable news + sentiment will take the share to where you suggest but what is more questionable is whether that value will stick afterwards.

john, that's a consequence of modest growth trajectory. Any sort of unsubtantiated spike and it'll go downhill on the BB like everywhere else.

This happens quite easily on a spike and doesn't necessarily lead the spike. I'd be careful about using it as a lead indicator as you may get spiked or alternatively you may get in and out on momentum and folks who don't look beyond the quote end up getting spiked while others adjust their position.

Mrcautious noted but as a structure opinion goes it’s a good vid and makes sense for a company that want to do its own cathode manufacture. Doesn’t mean it will happen however if looking for a Piedmont type arrangement in EU it’s a good comparative. The trouble is that EMH currently have not demonstrated conversion capability. So until that’s done imo the value doesn’t unlock fully. Jut my opinion

Iainlittle, thanks for that post which succinctly captures and articulates my reading of the situation. Big Auto are in for a massive shock as the ability to produce this chemical in the amounts projected to be needed with leave some very big players with their begging bowls out.

I also wonder whether Chinese , Korean, Japanese grip on conversion capacity will see some large automotive brands essentially become hostile takeover targets. In Europe its shaping up to be no lithium = no auto sales which will put those with no offtake or supply chain to battery in a very difficult position.

Bought at 48p, averaged down to 33p but was uncomfortable so have reduced exposure and sitting at 33p with a more reasonable amount at risk. Learning to manage portfolio vs risk. Hard past lessons some of which I'm still trying to correct.

mrcautious I know exactly what you mean. Recognising future need and timing investment in it correctly are two different things. I have personally been caught out with this and had to average down then adjust position accordingly.

Currently at break even SP or thereabouts on Lithium stocks but Its taken a while to get to that point.

Fingers crossed the sector maintains stability now and grows in a controlled manner.

Yesterday and today is significant volume and no meaningful RNS so something seems to be brewing. Is it accumulation to see what sort of SP impact occurs due to relative illiquidity of the stock. The chart has a feel of june / july 2019 about it.

Positive development. He can get to grips with and departmental backlog and hopefully positive MLA announcement and Sinohydro review work can result in some RNS releases that could co-ordinate to have a decent sustainable SP impact
