It's kind of crazy that they say within 2 years as though that's an exciting and ground breaking time schedule. The companies who have made applications to the FSA are pulling their hair out - 2 years? This is bearing in mind that companies like Aleph farms made their application a year ago. What's the delay FSA? In the next two years we will see several countries approving these products, especially in the far east, Australia certainly, Thailand, South Korea and many others. The UK will be lagging. Maybe even the EU will get there first? So this potential benefit of Brexit is lost. I've been told directly, and it was hinted at on the radio programme that they just don't have the staff to do anything quickly. They approved it for dogs - so surely it doesn't take an extra 2 years to approve it for people. For a potential UK billion dollar industry you think they might have employed a couple of extra people - yes - no? I will be writing about this.
