Look I dont mean to be an a$$ but if you read the RNS (which would have taken less time then creating 3 threads) you would see there was no mention of how long the test took in the RNS so there is your answer. There was NO MENTION.

Possible that will be covered in the Trading Update or future RNS as this RNS seemed to be more about initial clinical evaluation.

Could you not just check the RNS like the rest of us? We have the same info as you or are you trying to be clever with a subtle deramp as you know full well that there was no mention of how long it took hence the need to post the same question twice?

So pigster is right the sensitivity could in that case go up to 98%.

Personally I think it these 2 and I think they both tie in. Whatever happens in the future the fact that investors were repeatedly told dates by AS that were missed (whatever the reasons be it 3rd party delays, government red tape or AS excitement with timelines) this will have had an impact on trust. It does feel that we may have turned a corner in the past couple of months with regards to the quality of information we get. The last few RNS`s for me anyway have been much clearer than the filler RNS we seemed to be getting.

Todays RNS was excellent and a nice surprise this morning and I am looking forward to the trading update and maybe something in-between . Still some way to go till we are making cash (from the LFT anyway) but we are getting there and I can only see this going one way over the coming weeks and I don't imagine the share price will be anywhere near £1.76 come the end of April.

PL75 gets a lot of $hit on here from some quarters but I quite like to read his opinion as most of the time it is pretty balanced.

We do have a ton of uber rampers (some are actually worth reading others not so much as they refuse to see ANY negatives)I am sure you will work out who they are pretty quick (some have a cult following) ;-)

We have a few derampers that try to seed doubt and we have a couple with split personalities that ramp one day and deramp the next.

Likely to be much the same as every other press conference he does. Tell us to be patient we are getting there, give us vaccinated numbers including telling us multiple times we are doing more than Europe, tell us we must obey rules or go to prison, not answer or actively avoid any difficult questions from journalists. I have read a lot of posts stating we will have no test until March. I am not so sure we will be waiting until the end of March to be selling a test.

The CE mark will then be transferred to Avacta when it receives ISO13485 accreditation, which is expected by the end of March 2021."

That paragraph reads to me that it will be CE marked by Mologic so that it can be sold pretty much as soon as possible for Professional use - like every other test currently on the market rather than waiting for Avacta to gain its accreditation.

I may be wrong (happens often ;-)) but I think we may be selling before the end of March. Happy to be corrected by someone with a bit more knowledge.

I am sure ODX will do very well and so they should but Piper you are making yourself look a bit of a clown.

2m a day = 14 million per week

ODX THEMSELVES said that they are looking to expand to 2m per WEEK (so not there yet I think they said April). Mologic I think I read are EXPANDING to produce 250 Million a year so again not quite there) which equals roughly 5 Million per week. So between mologic and ODX thats 7 million. So where is the additional 7 million a week manufacturing for this ODX/mologic test coming from if what you say is fact. I dont see Surescreen having the capacity to produce 7 million a week even if they were making the mologic test.

Your worse than some of the Avacta rampers for pulling unsubstantiated stuff out of your a$$ that makes no sense.

As for Avacta I am not overly worried. If we get an RNS saying the test has failed is when I will have a little $hit but until then the world is bigger than the UK whatever happens with the Government.

I have seen 1 or 2 useful posts from him on LSE that wasn't ramping nonsense or throwing figures around that were pulled out of his a$$. Who knows one of his many guesses may come off but I personally wont be using him as a source of useful information ;-)

Dont forget surescreen are also providing the government with tests (Think it was 2 million initially but there was scope for more)

This bit in particular has been in my thoughts over the last few days

100% do not trust any government but in particular this one with thier handling of covid to stand by any promises made. While I am still optimistic that everything will come good (eventually) I do worry that Avacta could be left with a sorry but we are going in a different direction email. While long term there is the world to sell to so we will be ok I cant help feeling IF the delays are due to government obstacles and they then give Avacta the 2 fingers, Avacta have potentially missed out on millions the last few months (IF there is a test of course).

The cancer side seems to be trotting along really well but I just hope Avacta have not put all their eggs with regards to covid in a basket made of wet paper. We will see I guess.
